(AP) &#8211; Police in eastern North Dakota say former attorney general Nicholas John Spaeth (spayth) was found dead this weekend.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Authorities say officers found the body of the 64-year-old man on Sunday at a home in Fargo.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Investigators say the cause and manner of death have not been determined, but they do not suspect foul play.<\/p>\n<p>Fargo police Lt. Joel Vettel said officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Eighth Street South, in Fargo \u00a0at 1:43 p.m. Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Dispatchers had received a call of a suicidal male at that address.<\/p>\n<p>Spaeth was a Democrat who served as attorney general from 1985 to 1992.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0He lost the 1992 <a title=\"Governor of North Dakota\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Governor_of_North_Dakota\">North Dakota governor<\/a>&#8216;s race to Republican <a title=\"Ed Schafer\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ed_Schafer\">Ed Schafer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown Pheasants Forever 4<sup>th<\/sup> Annual Banquet is set for Forday March 21, 2014, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday\u2019s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2 spokesman Ron Hemmer said the \u2018cackle\u2019 will start at 5-p.m., with dinner served at 7-p.m.<\/p>\n<p>He said some tickets will be available at the door, a $50 and includes the dinner an a one year membership in Pheasants Forever.<\/p>\n<p>Proceeds will go toward the youth camp at Crystal Springs, the ultimate nature experience for those 9-13 years old, where young people learn about wildlife, boating safety, poaching, with information also from Dakota Anglers, in conjunction with fishing at the camp.<\/p>\n<p>Students from the University of Jamestown direct the camp, in connection with scholarships and credit.<\/p>\n<p>He pointed out that all proceeds stay local.<\/p>\n<p>Hemmer added that Pheasants Forever work on habitat. food plats, and work with farmers with information including control burn programs.<\/p>\n<p>At the Banquet there will be live and silent auctions, and raffles, including hunting trips to South Africa, and a dove hunt to Argentina. The research component is led by NDSU.<\/p>\n<p>Industrial beets, also called energy beets, are varieties of beets bred for industrial sugars that can be converted to a wide range of bio-fuels and chemicals.<\/p>\n<p>Farmers voiced strong interest in growing beets for industrial purposes during January meetings, but indicated that more information, especially on economics, was needed before making a decision.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) &#8211; Authorities have identified two 22-year-old men who died in a Williams County crash involving a pickup truck and a dump truck.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Highway Patrol says pickup driver Michael Rameden, of Ray, and passenger Kyle Keller, of Bismarck, died at the scene shortly before 6 a.m. Sunday. (AP) &#8211; A North Dakota health official says a Colorado company likely will be sanctioned for not heeding a warning to secure an oil well that was swamped by floodwaters near the confluence of the Yellowstone and Missouri rivers.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Environmental geologist Kris Roberts says up to 1,400 gallons of oil might have spilled from Zavanna&#8217;s well site into floodwaters in the area southwest of Williston.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Roberts says the spill was discovered on Friday and has been contained. Costello served as VCSU offensive coordinator the past three seasons.<\/p>\n<p>O\u2019Day just completed his third season at VCSU. He served as wide receivers coach in 2012 and 2013, and was running backs coach in 2011.
