The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) is seeking comments on an amendment to the 2014-2017 State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) for a change in location and total cost of the following previously-published project in 2014.<\/p>\n

Urban Projects:<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

\u00a0The location of the milling and asphalt overlay project on 4th<\/sup> Street SW from 8th<\/sup> Avenue SW to 3rd<\/sup> Avenue SE in Valley City has changed to now end at Central Ave.\u00a0 In addition, the following milling and asphalt locations have been added.<\/p>\n

  1. 7th<\/sup> Avenue SW (4th<\/sup> Street SW to 3rd<\/sup> Street SW) \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n
  2. 3rd<\/sup> Street SW (10th<\/sup> Avenue SW to 8th<\/sup> Avenue SW)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n
  3. 2nd<\/sup> Street SW (Main Street to 7th<\/sup> Avenue SW)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n
  4. 7th<\/sup> Street NE (5th<\/sup> Avenue NE to 6th<\/sup> Avenue NE)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The total cost for the project has now increased approximately $300,000 for a total cost of $600,000.<\/p>\n

    The public is invited to view the current STIP on the NDDOT web site at http:\/\/www.dot.nd.gov<\/a> by clicking on the Manuals and Publications icon on the left-hand side, then clicking on the \u201cFinal STIP 2014-2017\u201d link under the Plans and Reports section.<\/p>\n

    Comments should be sent no later than April 2, 2014 to Chad M. Orn at NDDOT,<\/p>\n
