\"perkinsparkinglotaerial\"<\/a>Jamestown (CSi) \u00a0Friday April 25,\u00a0authorities arrested a Hazen man and a 17 year old male after an alleged\u00a0robbery in Jamestown, followed by a\u00a0pursuit that ended in northern Barnes County.<\/p>\n

37 year old Darrell Boggs<\/strong> of Hazen\u00a0is charged with 19 charges, including 13 felonies, in Stutsman and Barnes Counties.<\/p>\n

Boggs was charged with 10 Class C and two Class B felony charges in Stutsman County, including robbery, criminal conspiracy to commit robbery, felon in possession of a firearm and five drug-related charges.<\/p>\n

In Barnes County, Boggs is charged with a Class C felony, possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine. \u00a0He is charged with three Class B misdemeanors: carrying a loaded firearm in a motor vehicle, drove or in actual physical control of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and reckless driving. \u00a0Boggs is also charged with fleeing or attempting to flee a police officer, a Class A misdemeanor.<\/p>\n

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on May 27 for the Barnes County charges. No date has been set for a preliminary hearing on the Stutsman County charges.<\/p>\n

Boggs is in the Stutsman County Correctional Center on a $250,000 cash bond.<\/p>\n

The\u00a017-year-old male was also allegedly involved in the robbery, but no details have been released about the juvenile. The suspect is being held in a youth correctional facility in Cass County,<\/p>\n

The pair are accused\u00a0in the incident\u00a0where a woman’s\u00a0purse was\u00a0stolen,\u00a0 between 5-p.m., and 6-p.m., witnessed by a man, in the parking lot between Perkins Restaurant and First Community Credit Union’s branch office, on Highway 281 South.\u00a0 The woman was then purportedly pushed to the ground by one of the males.<\/p>\n

A witness called 9-1-1 and shortly after, a\u00a0North Dakota Highway Patrol unit pursued\u00a0\u00a0the suspect vehicle on I-94 at mile marker 277 east bound.\u00a0\u00a0 The vehicle\u00a0 crossed I-94 and went back west bound on the interstate, exiting\u00a0at mile marker 276 and\u00a0headed north on Barnes County Road 7.\u00a0\u00a0 The vehicle continued through Eckelson on a gravel road. The suspect\u2019s vehicle was able to distance itself from law enforcement.<\/p>\n

As \u00a0the search for the vehicle continued, deputies were alerted by a person who was hunting geese in the area.\u00a0 The suspect\u2019s vehicle became stuck in a slough and the pair fled on foot.<\/p>\n

\"Barnes<\/a>The two suspects were captured and taken into custody by\u00a0two Barnes County deputies.<\/p>\n

The vehicle was impounded and taken back to Jamestown.<\/p>\n
