News Sept 24, 2012)\u00a0 &#8212;\u00a0 Volunteers Monday, began the search for a camera SD card, in hopes it will give a clue as to what caused the plane crash that took the life of Bob Odegaard.<\/p>\n<p>He died while practicing in his aircraft for the September 7, 2012, air show.<\/p>\n<p>At Valley City Airport, a grid was laid out to establish a search area, of the crash site.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Within the grid, searchers with metal detectors hope the instruments will turn up the card that was in the camera mounted on the plane, at the time of the crash.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The search will\u00a0start Wednesday morning at the Valley City airport and\u00a0if not found, will continue on\u00a0\u00a0on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">To volunteer contact Barnes County Airport Authority Chairman,Dennis Helland at 840-0105 or 796-7841.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Officials are still looking for anyone with a metal detector, with headphones, to be at the airport by 9-a.m. Wednesday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Organizers emphasize this is not a &#8220;souvenir hunt,&#8221; but an effort to help the investigation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Lutefisk.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-4470\" title=\"Lutefisk\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Lutefisk-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News Sept 25, 2012) &#8212; The Men of Trinity Lutheran Church in Jamestown, along with much help from the Women of Trinity, will be holding the 46<sup>th<\/sup> Annual Lutefisk &amp; Meatball Supper, at the church Fellowship Hall.<\/p>\n<p>On October 3<sup>rd<\/sup>, 2012, the meal will be served from 4-p.m., to 7-p.m.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the Norwegian lutefisk, and Swedish\/German meatballs, male waiters will provide the meal, which includes boiled potatoes and gravy, coleslaw, cranberries, buns, lefse, coffee and ice cream for dessert.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday\u2019s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2 Jim Fritz, and Billy Rath pointed out that carryout meals are available by calling in advance, Joleen at the church at 252-2841, or talking with Al Wolf at the supper.<\/p>\n<p>Meals will be delivered at no cost.<\/p>\n<p>Rath pointed out that meals will also be delivered to Eventide at Hi-Acres, and Ave Maria Village.<\/p>\n<p>Also at the conclusion of the supper, surplus items will be available for purchase by those in attendance.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets can be purchased in advance from the church or any Men of Trinity member at $14 for adults, children 11 and under at $4 and pre-schoolers free.<\/p>\n<p>At the door, tickets are $15 for adults.<\/p>\n<p>Proceeds from the supper go to local and area charities supported by Trinity Lutheran in Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>Fritz pointed out the supper began in 1966, by one of the founding father, Harvey Jensen, who was also involved in the construction of the church in 1956.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets will be given away on The Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, on the live morning show at 8:25 a.m., on September 27, &amp; 28, and October 1 &amp; 2.<\/p>\n<p>\u3000<\/p>\n<p>Valley City, ND (KCSi-T.V. News) \u2013 The old North Valley Bridge north of Valley City, started coming down on Tuesday (Sept. 25. 2012).<\/p>\n<p>During the dismantling, barges are used to prevent debris from reaching the Sheyenne River.<\/p>\n<p>Project manager Shawn Mayfield, says the contractor, Industrial builders, will landscape the west side of the new $2.4 million bridge.<\/p>\n<p>The new bridge is 4 feet higher than the old bridge, to hopefully prevent closing with high water.<\/p>\n<p>The old bridge was closed during flooding in 2009 and 2011.<\/p>\n<p>\u3000<\/p>\n<p>Valley City, ND (KCSi-T.V. News) &#8212; The Valley City Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Candidates Forum on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 7:00 p.m., at the Valley City Hi Liner Activity Center, Gymnasium.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates for the District 24 Senate and House seats and candidates for Barnes County Commission have been invited to participate.<\/p>\n<p>The moderator will Valley City Area Chamber of Commerece, President, Michelle Wobbema.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates will be given time for an opening statement, and respond to prepared questions from the moderator.<\/p>\n<p>If there\u2019s time, questions will be taken from the audience, and closing statements.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0CANDO, N.D. (AP) &#8211; The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a man<br \/>\nand woman from Belcourt were killed Tuesday after their car<br \/>\ncollided with a semi-truck about 13 miles west of Cando.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The patrol says the 24-year-old man was driving the car east on<br \/>\nNorth Dakota Highway 17 about 9 a.m. when he failed to negotiate a<br \/>\ncurve and struck the rear tires of the semi-truck with an empty hay<br \/>\nrack trailer.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The car rotated and entered the south ditch coming to rest on<br \/>\nits wheels on the shoulder, killing the driver and a 19-year-old<br \/>\nfemale passenger.<\/p>\n<p>Another 19-year-old female passenger was flown to Trinity Hospital in Minot.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The truck driver was not injured.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 No names were released. The accident is under investigation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>FARGO, N.D. (AP) &#8211; A Fargo grocery store employee who was shot<br \/>\ntwice during a robbery is being released from the hospital.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Josh Kleckner and another employee were inside Sunmart Foods at closing time around 11 p.m. Sunday when the gunman entered, approached Kleckner and made demands.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Kleckner was shot when he struggled with the suspect.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Police say Kleckner is in satisfactory condition and is being<br \/>\nreleased from Sanford Medical Center on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The investigation is continuing.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) &#8211; North Dakota Gov. Jack Dalrymple is<br \/>\noutlining plans to deal with new estimates of the state&#8217;s rapid<br \/>\ngrowth.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A new housing study predicts North Dakota&#8217;s population will grow<br \/>\nto 840,000 people by 2025. That&#8217;s a 25 percent increase.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 There could be demand for 6,000 new housing units each year for<br \/>\nthe next 15 years. That&#8217;s the equivalent of adding the city of<br \/>\nGrafton every year.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Dalrymple spoke Tuesday to a housing forum in Bismarck. He says<br \/>\nhe&#8217;ll propose increasing state subsidies to promote affordable<br \/>\nhousing development.<\/p>\n<p>He wants more state grants to help cities<br \/>\nbuild sewer and water systems and other public works.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 North Dakota Housing Finance Agency director Mike Anderson says<br \/>\nthe study provides crucial information about the state&#8217;s housing<br \/>\nneeds during the next decade.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) &#8211; North Dakota&#8217;s Democratic candidate for<br \/>\nthe state Public Service Commission says the agency should do much<br \/>\nmore to promote energy conservation.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Brad Crabtree says demand for electricity is growing.
