A FEW OF THESE STORMS COULD BE STRONG OR SEVERE<br \/>\n\u00a0FRIDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Valley City (CSi) The suspect in the AmericInn motel burglary in Valley City was taken into custody, Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Valley City Police Chief Fred Thompson says 26-year-old Paul Jacob Myles turned himself into Valley City police.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with additional information asked to contact the Valley City police department at 845-3110.<\/p>\n<p>Stemming from a search, Monday of an residence, an arrest warrant was issued for Myles who is charged Felony Burglary, Felony Theft of Property and Misdemeanor Possession of Narcotics Paraphernalia.<\/p>\n<p>Myles was identified using surveillance video, and is a former employee at the AmericInn.<\/p>\n<p>Valley City Police are investigating a burglary at the AmericInn, on Winter Show Road in Valley City, early Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Police say the burglary occurred before 4:00 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>The male suspect entered the office and left with the business safe and an undetermined amount of money from the front desk till.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect ran out a back door and was last seen in the area of the Bridges Bar and Grill at 264 Wintershow Road, and dropped the safe, which was recovered by Valley City Police.<\/p>\n<p>\u3000<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown (CSi) The 18<sup>th<\/sup> Annual Stutsman County Relay for Life will be held June 21 &amp; 22, 2014 at University of Jamestown\u2019s Taylor Stadium track, from 6-p.m., to 5-a.m.<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday\u2019s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, Relay for Life spokesperson, Pam Phillips said this is the first time the event will be on Saturday\/Sunday, and this year returns to the stadium location.<\/p>\n<p>She said the theme this year is &#8220;Super Heroes,&#8221; and will include a Super Heroes Costume Competition at 8-p.m., on that Friday\u2026open to adults and children. The winner will be determined by the amount of money collected, donated to Relay for Life.<\/p>\n<p>She pointed out, this year\u2019s Honorary Co-Chairs are Judy Hager, and Ruby Duciaome (de-sewm).<\/p>\n<p>Opening Ceremonies will begin on Friday the 21<sup>st<\/sup> at 6-p.m., with the Knight of Columbus Color Guard, followed by the Survivors and Caregivers Victory Lap, and then the Introduction of Teams, and the start of Team Laps.<\/p>\n<p>The Luminary Ceremony starts at 9:30-p.m., with the presentation of the names.<\/p>\n<p>The Fight Back Ceremony is at 11:30-p.m., and the Sunrise Service and Final Lap occurs at 5-a.m., and participants are welcome to stay and help with clean up at 5:30-a.m.<\/p>\n<p>Other activities will include: a bounce house, activities all night, in addition to the Relay Store, a Silent Auction, Vendors, and teams selling food and mementos.<\/p>\n<p>Corporate Sponsors are welcome. (AP) &#8211; A spill of 100 barrels of brine and 140 barrels of oil has been reported in Crosby.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The North Dakota Department of Health on Wednesday said 90 barrels of brine and 65 barrels of oil have been recovered, but some reached a nearby farm field and shelter belt.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Operator Samson Resources Company reported the release to authorities on Monday. Jack Dalrymple says the more than 4,000 people at the Williston Basin Petroleum Conference underway in Bismarck are wise for looking to learn about the opportunities being created in North Dakota.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Dalrymple says the oil boom has created unparalleled opportunity and growth in the state. He says he expects oil production to increase from 977,000 barrels daily in March.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Helms says the Bakken shale formation in North Dakota and Montana is &#8220;an exclusive club.&#8221; He says that out of the 65,000 oil fields worldwide, only 150 including the Bakken have exceeded 1 billion barrels of oil. (AP) &#8211; Residents of the Mott-Regent School District in southwestern North Dakota have rejected a $14.5 million bond measure to build a new K-12 school.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nPreliminary results of Tuesday&#8217;s election show 60 percent of the 838 people who voted were opposed to the project. (AP) &#8211; Some farmers are questioning a proposed 170-mile electrical transmission line proposed from southeastern North Dakota to northeastern South Dakota.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 People who spoke at a Tuesday night hearing in Aberdeen held by South Dakota&#8217;s Public Utilities Commission questioned easement payments, possible land devaluation and the possibility of the power line interfering with GPS equipment on farm machinery.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The\u00a0 proposed line is a joint venture of Montana-Dakota Utilities and Otter Tail Power.
