THE OLD RECORD WAS A TRACE SET IN 1952.<\/p>\n<p>A DAILY RECORD SNOWFALL OF 3.5 INCHES WAS SET AT THE WEATHER STATION AT UND..<\/p>\n<p>ALSO A DAILY RECORD SNOWFALL OF 1.4 INCHES WAS SET AT FARGO HECTOR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ND FOR THURSDAY.<\/p>\n<p>THE OLD RECORD WAS 0.6 INCHES SET IN 1903.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday&#8217;s snowy, windy storm conditions caused power outages in the area.<\/p>\n<p>Northern Plains Electric Cooperative reports, at 2:30 a.m. Thursday the weather system came through the Woodworth area, taking down 21 utility poles resulting in the power outages affecting 30 Northern Plains customers.<\/p>\n<p>Crews were called in from Woodworth-Robinson, Cando, Carrington, Jamestown, Maddock and Rugby.<\/p>\n<p>The power was back on by mid-afternoon, to all but 13 members, which were expected to be on line Thursday evening.<\/p>\n<p>Assisting were area farmers with tractors pulling vehicles from the mud.<\/p>\n<p>Xcel Energy said the weather contributed to a power outage affecting about 6,500 people in the Fargo region for a couple of hours.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ON THURSDAY OCT 4, 2012 A DAILY RECORD SNOWFALL OF 2.7 INCHES WAS SET AT GRAND FORKS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT FOR THURSDAY.
