Being able

to grow up in two hometowns instilled organizational skills and

a love for travel which have both become crucial to her rodeo

career.

Krystal grew up with her two younger brothers, Jace and

Grant, and her paint horse Sweet Pea. In High School she was

active in 4-H, track, soccer, dance, and of course, anything that

could be done from horseback! Being a role model for her

two younger brothers and young ladies everywhere has always

been a priority to Krystal. Her motto continues to be:

“Everything we do, no matter the outcome, will make us a better well rounded individual.”

With this motto she has balanced the demands of school, sports, life, and her love for rodeo.

Krystal obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from South Dakota State University in May of 2011.
