{"id":55287,"date":"2014-09-22T11:00:39","date_gmt":"2014-09-22T16:00:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=55287"},"modified":"2014-09-25T11:18:25","modified_gmt":"2014-09-25T16:18:25","slug":"vc-to-host-el-zagal-shriners-activities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=55287","title":{"rendered":"VC to host El Zagal Shriners activities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Shrinerslogo.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-55290\" alt=\"Shrinerslogo\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Shrinerslogo.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"171\" \/><\/a>Valley City (CSi) Valley City is the location of an <strong>El Zagal Shriners\u2019 event<\/strong>, celebrating 125 years of service to children and the Children\u2019s Hospital, October 3-5, 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Event coordinator Brian Mindt says they\u2019ll have a presentation with a hospital doctor and four patients with their testimonials about the care they received through the<strong> Shriners\u2019 Hospital.<\/strong> The public is encouraged to attend this and a number of other events being held in the community.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, October 3 there will be a golf scramble at the Valley City Town &amp; Country Club with a shotgun start at 1-p.m. Ladies Wine Tasting at the AmericInn and a Roast Beef &amp; Chicken buffet at the Eagles Club the same day.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, October 4 <strong>the Shriners\u2019 parade<\/strong> starts at 10:30a.m. on Central Avenue.<\/p>\n<p>(The VCSU Homecoming Parade to start at 11am.)<\/p>\n<p>At the Valley City Eagle Club a social is at 5 p.m., with a 6:30 p.m. Banquet<\/p>\n<p>tTckets are $25. (Deadline to order Banquet tickets is Friday, September 26.) The public is welcome to attend.<\/p>\n<p>Dance to the classic Rock and Roll music with the group Last Call Friday and Saturday from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Eagles Club.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday, October 5, there&#8217;e a free will pancake and sausage feed at the Masonic Hall in Valley City.
