The 2014 Valley City Area Chamber of Commerce Christmas in the Valley winners were announced during the annual Santa Day event held Saturday, December 13, 2014\u00a0at Dakota Plains Cooperative main store in Valley City.<\/p>\n

Best entry in the Parade of Lights went to RKS Sales and Services. The Snowman decorating winner was Rachel Jensen of Dacotah Bank.<\/p>\n

The Christmas in the Valley button winners were: \u00a0Grand Prize Gary Peterson<\/strong> won a Surface Pro 2 Tablet from Hi-Line Technology, 1st prize went to Angie Curtis<\/strong> who won $250 in Chamber Bucks, 2nd prize went to Nadine Hatch<\/strong> who won the Duttons Valley Gallery Canvas \u201cRainbow Over Cornfield,\u201d 3rd prize Katie Borge<\/strong> won a Mall of America Fun Pack from KOVC Radio, 4th prize Rachel Jensen<\/strong> won a Tuscan Area Rug from Valley Flooring and the 5th prize went to Doreen Saylor<\/strong> who won the suite of her choice at the Americinn Hotel & Suites in Valley City.<\/p>\n

In December, Daily in Barnes County Museum: Prehistoric Christmas with “Bob” the Dinosaur, 10 am-4 pm daily and Thursday evenings, closed on Sundays.<\/p>\n

Dec 8-23 “Twelve Days of Christmas.” Shop locally & WIN! 12 winners will receive $50 in Chamber Bucks each day. Drawings will be held daily at Dacotah Bank.<\/p>\n
