Jamestown (CSi) Sanford Clinic in Jamestown, is moving the location of their Walk-In Clinic. Beginning Thursday, December 11<\/strong>, 2014, all walk-in patients will be seen at the Sanford Second Avenue Clinic, in the Jamestown Business Center, 300 2nd<\/sup> Ave NE in Jamestown. Hours for Walk-In Clinic are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and 9:00 am to noon on Saturday.<\/p>\n

On Monday\u2019s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, Sanford Jamestown Clinic Director, John Lillijord said the Sanford Second Avenue Clinic has recently completed a 8000 square foot addition. Further renovations will continue in the near future. In addition to the Walk-In Clinic; Dr. David Muhs and Dr. Sarah Schatz will be moving their practices to the Second Avenue Clinic beginning December 11th<\/sup>. Any patients scheduled to see Dr. Muhs or Dr. Schatz on December 11th<\/sup> or later should report to the Second Avenue Clinic for their appointment.<\/p>\n

On Monday December 15th <\/sup>the space occupied by those physicians at the Fifth Avenue Clinic will be renovated for the Audiology Department, which will move there from the Second Avenue Clinic, planned for the end of February.<\/p>\n

Long range plans for Sanford include moving all family practice providers to the Second Avenue Clinic as further renovations are completed, planned for this coming summer, estimated for late May or early June. The Physical Therapy Department will remain at the Fifth Avenue Clinic, located at 904 5th<\/sup> Avenue Notheast.<\/p>\n

Also as the changes progress the Fifth Avenue Clinic will then have the services of Occupational Therapy, Audiology, Dermatology, Ultrasound, and mamography and radiology.<\/p>\n

Lillijord added that Dr. Larry Johnson, who recently retired from his full time practice will return to see Walk-In clinic patients on a part time basis.<\/p>\n

He said the Administrative Office will be located in the former Curves location at Jamestown Business Center.<\/p>\n

Lillijord stated out that additional physicians have been signed to start practice at Sanford Clinic in Jamestown this coming summer, along with a surgeon, Dr. Chris Maki. More physicians have been signed and will practice at the clinic, over the next few years.<\/p>\n

Sanford Clinic in Jamestown will close at noon on Christmas Eve day, and be closed on Christmas Day, and reopen on the 26th<\/sup>. There will be No walk-in clinic on the 27th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

The clinic will be open regular hours on New Year\u2019s Eve day, closed New Year\u2019s day, and reopens on January 2nd. The Walk-In Clinic will be open on January 3rd<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown Arts Center will host the annual Wine and Cheese Tasting event, on Saturday January 17, 2015, from 7-p.m., to 9-p.m.<\/p>\n

All proceeds will benefit the Jamestown Arts Center www.jamestownarts.com<\/p>\n

Tickets are $30 per person and area available at the Arts Center, Cork & Barrel, (Arts Center board members starting Dec 17.)<\/p>\n

Those attending must be at least 21 years old.<\/p>\n

Again this year there will be an international theme, with wines from around the world.<\/p>\n

There will be premium wines available, to be sold be the glass.<\/p>\n

Several varieties of cheese will be available as well.<\/p>\n

This is the Arts Center\u2019s 5th<\/sup> year hosting the event, coordinated by the Arts Center\u2019s Board members and staff, with assistance from Scott Anderson of Cork & Barrel.<\/p>\n

The mission of the Jamestown Arts Center is to enrich the Jamestown area community through the arts, with the motto, “Culture Builds Community.”<\/p>\n

Jamestown (CSi) \u00a0The Anne Carlsen Center (ACC) welcomed R.M. Stoudt, Inc. as their most recent Community Partner on December 4th<\/sup>. Working with R.M. Stoudt, the ACC hosted a Lincoln Driven to Give<\/i> event on October 15th<\/sup> where 100 people test drove new Lincoln Model vehicles at the Anne Carlsen campus. The end result was a nearly $3,600 donation, which when combined with R.M. Stoudt\u2019s annual giving, qualified them to be our newest Community Partner.<\/p>\n

ACC partners with Jamestown and Area Businesses in an effort to strengthen community ties, create awareness of ACC\u2019s programs and services, and recognize those in our community dedicated to improving the lives of others. Community Partners is a 12 month program designed for businesses who make a $5,000 (or more) investment in ACC. Ultimately, the Community Partners assist in continuing Dr. Anne\u2019s tradition of empowering individuals with special needs. \n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Police say the 28-year-old woman was on a sidewalk when an unknown male punched her in the face several times.

ARGUSVILLE, N.D. (AP) – Cass County authorities say they are investigating a shooting in rural Argusville, in eastern North Dakota.

\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Authorities say deputies responded to a call about the shooting late Sunday afternoon. Officials say deputies located a 38-year-old man who had suffered a gunshot wound.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Authorities did not release the man’s name or the extent of his injury.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The man was taken to a Fargo hospital for treatment.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – Bismarck police are investigating a break-in at a downtown delicatessen.

\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Police Lt. Steve Scheuer\u00a0says \u00a0the burglary was reported early Monday morning at Lucky Duck’s Deli and Catering.

\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Scheuer says the glass front door had been smashed. He says officers are investigating the extent of the damage and what was stolen.<\/p>\n

\u00a0ALEXANDER, N.D. (AP) – A weekend crash in the western North Dakota oil patch has killed a Williston man.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Highway Patrol says 20-year-old Mason Mulkey was driving a pickup truck and failed to yield to a semitrailer at the intersection of U.S. Highway 85 and state Highway 68 south of Alexander. The crash happened about 6:40 p.m. Saturday.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Mulkey was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in his vehicle, 20-year-old John Walz of Bogalusa, Louisiana, was taken to a Minot hospital with unspecified injuries. The semi driver was not hurt.<\/p>\n

\u00a0FARGO, N.D. (AP) – The head of the U.S. Surface Transportation Board says the agency is working on improving reporting rules that should give grain producers and others better information on rail shipments.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The board in October issued an order requiring railways to give more details on shipping, such as average speeds, the weekly number of grain cards ordered and overdue, and the number of cars cancelled by state.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Board Chairman Daniel Elliott said during a panel discussion in Fargo Monday that the order has been interpreted differently and the rules need to be clearer and more specific.

\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The discussion was part of a conference on shipping agricultural products. The two-day event is sponsored by North Dakota State University and North Dakota Sens. John Hoeven and Heidi Heitkamp.<\/p>\n

\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The estimated price tag is $8.1 million. County Auditor Tracey Dolezal tells says County Commission hasn’t discussed how the work would be financed.

\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Dolezal says the oil patch county has a cash reserve of $24 million – but it also has $54 million in projects on the drawing board.

(AP) – Investigators believe jewelry thieves followed their victims for several hundred miles from a trade show in Chicago — before pulling off a heist in less than two minutes at a rest stop early Monday in southeastern Minnesota. They say the thieves made off with $500,000 in jewelry. A diamond dealer and six employees had been traveling in a passenger van, but only two of them were in the van when the smash-and-grab robbery took place.\u00a0

\u00a0GAITHERSBURG, Md. (AP) – Three residents of a home in Maryland are unaccounted for, after a private jet crashed into the house Monday, killing three people on board the plane. The home was nearly destroyed by the crash and fire. Two other nearby homes caught fire as well, but weren’t as badly damaged. The crash took place near the Montgomery County Airpark in a suburb of Washington, DC.

\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 DETROIT (AP) – Honda says it will replace driver’s air bag inflators on 2.6 million more vehicles as it expands repairs to the entire U.S. Honda is the only automaker to comply with government demands for national repairs. \n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 DENVER (AP) – A federal appeals court\u00a0 heard arguments Monday on the birth-control mandate in the federal health care law. A group of faith-based religious organizations told the judges that they should be treated like religions — and shouldn’t even have to file papers saying they don’t want to cover contraceptives. But a lawyer for the federal government said that approach would require officials to set up sort of a “detective agency” to determine if employers aren’t meeting health insurance mandates because of religious beliefs.

A Senate panel is expected to release the report\u00a0Tuesday — even though Secretary of State John Kerry last week asked the panel to “consider” the timing of the release.
