Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown Stutsman Development Corporation (JSDC) has moved its offices, but not far.<\/p>\n

JSDC is still occupying space at the Center for Economic Development, in downtown Jamestown, but is in the space formerly occupied by the South Center Dakota Regional Council.<\/p>\n

SCDRC is now located at Legacy Center in downtown Jamestown.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday\u2019s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2 JSDC\u2019s Vice President of Economic Development, Holly Miller said the former JSDC space is available for lease. Call JSDC at 252-6861 for more information.<\/p>\n

Jamestown (CSi) The Coborn\u2019s grocery store in Jamestown is becoming a Cash Wise Foods.<\/p>\n

The Store has been closed to convert to Cash Wise December 8-10, 2014, and reopens as Cash Wise at 6-a.m., on December 11th<\/sup>. The store hours will remain the same: open from 6 a.m. to midnight.<\/p>\n

During this down time the store is being updated with Cash Wise d\u00e9cor. No structural changes are planned.<\/p>\n

Officials say that prices will be lowered on thousands of items throughout the store.<\/p>\n

The main difference between Cash Wise and Coborn\u2019s is that the top focus for Cash Wise is low prices, which result from operating efficiencies.<\/p>\n

Store Manager Kyle Wensmann, says “Our customers have been asking for a Cash Wise store in Jamestown and we\u2019re responding to them by converting our Coborn\u2019s store into a Cash Wise. Coborn\u2019s Inc. has Cash Wise stores in several other markets in North Dakota, so by converting our store, we will be able to create more efficiencies that will allow us to provide our customers with great food at much lower prices.”<\/span><\/p>\n

All employees will keep their positions; no jobs will be lost and wages will not be impacted by this conversion, while some duties will be adjusted.<\/p>\n

Cash Wise Foods stores have been in operation in Fargo\/Moorhead and Bismarck for 26 years.<\/p>\n

\u00a0ALEXANDER, N.D. (AP) – A three-vehicle crash in the western North Dakota oil patch has killed a Wisconsin man and injured two other people from out of state.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Highway Patrol says the crash happened shortly after 7 a.m. Tuesday on U.S. Highway 85, about 5 miles north of Alexander.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Authorities say a car driven by a 21-year-old man from Union Grove, Wisconsin, collided with a pickup truck that had turned in front of the car. The car came to rest on the highway and was struck moments later by a large work truck hauling a flatbed trailer loaded with pipe.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Wisconsin man was taken to a Williston hospital, where he died. The two people in the pickup truck, from Pennsylvania and Arizona, suffered undisclosed injuries. The person in the work truck was not hurt.<\/p>\n

ARGUSVILLE, N.D. (AP) – Cass County authorities have concluded that a shooting in rural Argusville was accidental.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Deputies responded to a call about the shooting at a home late Sunday afternoon.\u00a0The \u00a0sheriff’s office has concluded that the 38-year-old man who was wounded shot himself by accident.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The man was taken to a Fargo hospital. Officials there are not releasing his condition.<\/p>\n

WAHPETON, N.D. (AP) – A teacher and coach in Wahpeton is accused of abusing two elementary school students.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The \u00a0teacher has been put on administrative leave while authorities investigate. He has not been charged with a crime.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The teacher is accused of pushing two fifth-grade boys against a wall and cussing at them. School district attorney Fred Strege says the district put the teacher on leave immediately following complaints by parents.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 School, police and social services officials are investigating. Calls made by The Associated Press to the teacher’s home telephone number were not answered on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) – Prosecutors have filed attempted murder and drug charges against a Washington state man after a weekend stabbing at a Williston hotel.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Authorities allege that 25-year-old Joshua Floyd stabbed his roommate during a fight over money. Defense attorney Nicole Foster declined comment to The Associated Press.
\n\u00a0
\nPolice recovered a 4-inch-long serrated knife they believe was used in the attack. Officers said they also found marijuana in Floyd’s jacket.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He was being held on $100,000 bond on misdemeanor drug charges and the felony attempted murder charge, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.<\/p>\n

FARGO, N.D. (AP) – A professional services firm that has delivery centers in Mumbai, Manila, London, New York, Boston and Washington, D.C., is expanding its operation in North Dakota.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Wednesday for Integreon’s new facility in Fargo. The 34,000-square-foot building will be home to 340 employees, with plans to add as many as 150 new jobs in the next year.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The company has been in Fargo since 2001, but hasn’t had its own facility until now.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Integreon CEO Bob Gogel tells The Associated Press that while the company’s clients are major multinationals, many of them prefer to deal with smaller centers that have a “human touch.”

\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The new facility features training centers with advanced computers, virtual meeting spaces with large video monitors, a day care center and a cafeteria.<\/p>\n

\u00a0BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – Williston commissioners have suspended the liquor licenses of the city’s two strip clubs for the second time in two years due to what police say are an excessive number of complaints about disorderly behavior.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Commissioners in the oil boom town voted unanimously Tuesday night to suspend the licenses at Whispers Nightclub and Heartbreakers Gentleman’s Club for 60 days.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Commissioners also suspended the strip clubs’ licenses in 2013 for excessive calls for disorderly behavior.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Detective David Peterson says police have responded to almost 200 calls at the strip clubs since then. He says the large number of calls at the strip clubs takes away police resources from the rest of the town.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Representatives from the clubs did not immediately return telephone calls on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

\u00a0WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) – The limits for federal home loans in seven western North Dakota counties have been increased to reflect the region’s soaring housing costs.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 U.S. Sen. Heidi Heitkamp on Wednesday said the higher Federal Housing Administration loan limits will allow more low-to-middle income families, first-time home buyers and seniors to afford a home.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A housing shortage in the state’s oil patch has led to skyrocketing rents. Williams County, for example, has seen a 135 percent increase in median rent for a two-bedroom apartment over the past six years.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Heitkamp says the higher loan limits will go into effect in January. The counties that will see the change approved by the U.S. Housing and Urban Development are Burleigh, McKenzie, Morton, Oliver, Sioux, Stark and Williams.<\/p>\n

ANTLER, N.D. (AP) – Landowners in Bottineau County who are dealing with the effects of years of oil and saltwater spills say they want better enforcement of state regulations affecting energy development.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Landowners say some properties have salt levels so high that even weeds won’t grow. And they say working with oil companies to rectify problems can be difficult.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 State Environmental Health Chief Dave Glatt on Tuesday met with members of the Northwest Landowners Association and area legislators. Glatt says the Health Department is committed to finding where leaks and spills are located and getting the land cleaned up. He also says the Legislature next year will be considering saltwater reclamation procedures.

\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Antler resident Robert Artz says officials also should be focusing on preventing future spills.<\/p>\n

Jamestown (CSi) University of Jamestown\u2019s soccer coach Thomas Nienhaus announces the signing of Kyle Fenske, Savage, MN who will join the Jimmies in the 2015-2016 season.<\/p>\n

Fenske will be a 2015 graduate of Prior Lake High School. He played soccer all four years of his high school career receiving an All-Conference Award his junior and senior years, All-State First Team and Star Tribune All-Metro First Team as a senior, and was captain of the soccer team his senior year. His team was section runner-up in 2013 and South Suburban Conference Champs in 2014.<\/p>\n

Coach Nienhaus says of Fenske\u2019s signing, \u201cKyle is our first commit and we couldn\u2019t be more excited. He is technical and versatile, two things we covet in our players. I\u2019m looking forward to working with him over the next four years.\u201dFenske plans to major in Physical Therapy while at the University of Jamestown.<\/p>\n

IRVING, Texas (AP) – NFL owners have unanimously approved changes to the league’s personal conduct policy. The new policy includes a six-game suspension without pay for violations including assault and domestic violence. But Commissioner Roger Goodell will retain authority to rule on appeals.<\/p>\n

Liberal lawmakers have erupted over a provision that weakens the regulation of risky financial instruments and another that allows more money to flood into political parties. At the same time, conservatives are unhappy that the bill fails to challenge President Barack Obama’s immigration policy.

\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 WASHINGTON (AP) – President Barack Obama is following up on his promise to expand early education opportunities for tens of thousands of children. He announced today a billion dollars in public-private spending on programs for young learners. Obama said that not even a-third of 4-year-olds are enrolled in preschool. And he blamed the high cost of these programs for essentially shutting off access to poorer infants, toddlers and preschoolers.<\/p>\n

\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 WASHINGTON (AP) – Lawmakers have been told\u00a0 that the U.S. is falling behind other countries in allowing commercial use of drone aircraft. Witnesses told a House panel that those flights are taking off in other countries, while the U.S. hasn’t developed safety regulations that would allow unmanned aircraft operations by a wide range of industries. The Federal Aviation Administration bars all commercial use of drones, except for 13 companies that have been granted limited permits. Four of those permits were announced Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The fall comes amid mounting evidence that global supplies are far outstripping demand.
