Jamestown (CSi) The Coborn\u2019s grocery store in Jamestown is\u00a0now a Cash Wise Foods.<\/p>\n

The Store had been closed to convert to Cash Wise December 8-10, 2014, and reopened as Cash Wise at 6-a.m., today. The store hours\u00a0has the same: open from 6 a.m. to midnight.<\/p>\n

During\u00a0the down time this week\u00a0 the store\u00a0was updated with Cash Wise d\u00e9cor.<\/p>\n

Officials say that prices arelowered on thousands of items throughout the store.<\/p>\n

The main difference between Cash Wise and Coborn\u2019s is that the top focus for Cash Wise is low prices, which result from operating efficiencies.<\/p>\n

Coborn\u2019s Store Manager Kyle Wensmann, says “Our customers have been asking for a Cash Wise store in Jamestown and we\u2019re responding to them by converting our Coborn\u2019s store into a Cash Wise. Coborn\u2019s Inc. has Cash Wise stores in several other markets in North Dakota, so by converting our store, we will be able to create more efficiencies that will allow us to provide our customers with great food at much lower prices.”<\/p>\n

All employees\u00a0are reportedly\u00a0keeping their positions; no jobs \u00a0lost and wages\u00a0are \u00a0not be impacted by this conversion, while some duties will be adjusted.<\/p>\n

Cash Wise Foods stores have been in operation in Fargo\/Moorhead and Bismarck for 26 years.<\/p>\n

Jamestown (CSi) Sanford Clinic in Jamestown, is moving the location of their Walk-In Clinic. Beginning Thursday, December 11<\/strong>, 2014, all walk-in patients will be seen at the Sanford Second Avenue Clinic, in the Jamestown Business Center, 300 2nd<\/sup> Ave NE in Jamestown. Hours for Walk-In Clinic are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and 9:00 am to noon on Saturday.<\/p>\n

On Monday\u2019s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, Sanford Jamestown Clinic Director, John Lillijord said the Sanford Second Avenue Clinic has recently completed a 8000 square foot addition. Further renovations will continue in the near future. In addition to the Walk-In Clinic; Dr. David Muhs and Dr. Sarah Schatz will be moving their practices to the Second Avenue Clinic beginning December 11th<\/sup>. Any patients scheduled to see Dr. Muhs or Dr. Schatz on December 11th<\/sup> or later should report to the Second Avenue Clinic for their appointment.<\/p>\n

Fargo (CSi) Members of the Jamestown Fire Department and Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office used the remotely operated vehicle, (ROV), to conduct an underwater search of the Sheyenne River, for a snowmobile driver who went through the Sheyenne River’s ice on December 2nd.<\/p>\n

West Fargo authorities said 34 year Cole Schwindt, of Moorhead, drove his snowmobile into the river that evening.<\/p>\n

JFD Training Officer Sheldon Mohr, says the ROV was used as part of the underwater search on Friday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday. with about about 32 hours in the water.<\/p>\n

Mohr said the Jamestown\/Stutsman County units are working with personnel from Valley Water Rescue and the West Fargo Police Department in the search.<\/p>\n

Jamestown (CSi) Jamestown Salvation Army Lt. Mitch Brecto says donations to the red kettle, will get a boost.<\/p>\n

He says, an anonymous donor is going to match donations up to $4,000 for the day,<\/p>\n

He points out that this yea\u2019s campaign has been lagging this year, in donations, and it has “considerable ways to go” to get from the current $52,000 to the end-of-the-month goal of $156,000.<\/p>\n

Last year the campaign was able to reach its goal of $147,000 due to a $25,000 match from an anonymous donor.<\/p>\n

Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown Stutsman Development Corporation (JSDC) has moved its offices, but not far.<\/p>\n

JSDC is still occupying space at the Center for Economic Development, in downtown Jamestown, but is in the space formerly occupied by the South Center Dakota Regional Council.<\/p>\n

SCDRC is now located at Legacy Center in downtown Jamestown.<\/p>\n

Jamestown (CSi) Jamestown Regional Medical Center Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Clinical Services, Trisha Jungels, has been selected by the Prairie Business Magazine as a top business professional under the age of 40.<\/p>\n

JRMC President and CEO, K.C. DeBoer, says “We are excited for Trisha to receive this recognition for she is an outstanding leader in our organization and in the community.”<\/p>\n

The 40 under 40 list was included in the Prairie Business Magazine\u2019s December 2014 issue, released on November 28, 2014.<\/p>\n

In the Prairie Business Magazine publication, Kris Bevill said, “Trisha has more than a decade of professional nursing experience and has provided care to patients in a variety of settings, from medical-surgical environments to home health. She became chief nursing officer and vice president of clinical services at JRMC in 2013 and has since proven herself to be an example for others to follow in developing relationships with peers, patients and the community.”<\/p>\n

Trisha was also the recipient of the Outstanding Rural Health Professional award from the UND Center for Rural Health.<\/p>\n

\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 City resident Ken Newton says a man who was living in his home and working in the area was injured in a shooting on his property, and Newton’s wife says the man was taken to a hospital in Bismarck.

\u00a0HANKINSON, N.D. (AP) – Richland County authorities are investigating a reported home invasion robbery in Hankinson. The two homeowners reported that three armed suspects entered their home shortly before 7 a.m. Sunday, assaulted them and robbed them. Authorities say the two men were treated at the scene and refused further medical attention.<\/p>\n

\u00a0WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) – Prosecutors have filed attempted murder and drug charges against a Washington state man after a weekend stabbing at a Williston hotel. Authorities allege that 25-year-old Joshua Floyd stabbed his roommate during a fight over money. Defense attorney Nicole Foster declined comment to the Associated Press yesterday. KXMC-TV reports Floydwas being held on $100,000 bond Wednesday.

\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 ARGUSVILLE, N.D. (AP) – Cass County authorities have concluded that a shooting in rural Argusville was accidental. Deputies responded to a call about the shooting at a home late Sunday afternoon. KFGO radio reports the sheriff’s office has concluded that the 38-year-old man who was wounded shot himself by accident. The man was taken to a Fargo hospital.<\/p>\n

\u00a0FARGO, N.D. (AP) – A North Dakota man who served time in prison for breaking into a post office on the Spirit Lake Indian Reservation is back in custody for failing to report to a halfway house.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Robert Redroad Jr., of St. Michael, is charged in federal court with escape from custody. Authorities say Redroad failed to show up at the Lake Region Law Enforcement Center in Devils Lake in October after he was released from a federal prison in West Virginia.

\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Redroad was arrested in Fort Totten on Nov. 7.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Redroad was sentenced in April 2013 to 30 months in prison on charges of burglary of a post office and conspiracy to commit bank fraud. Authorities say he stole a U.S Treasury check from the post office in Tokio.<\/p>\n

\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Lieutenant Steve Scheuer says the misappropriation of funds happened between April 1st and September 1st. He says the pool of potential suspects includes anyone with access to the funds.

\u00a0MINOT, N.D. (AP) – Police in northern North Dakota are warning of a telephone scam from callers claiming to be from the Internal Revenue Service.

\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Minot Police Department says people are told they owe money to the IRS. The con artists are threatening residents with arrest and other fines.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Police say the IRS never calls to demand immediate payment nor does the agency call about taxes owed without first having mailed a bill.
\n\u00a0

\u00a0 BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – North Dakota regulators say a 400-barrel oil spill has been contained at a well site about a mile north of Williston.

\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Regulators say the Norwegian energy company Statoil reported the spill on Monday. Officials say the oil was contained and recovered at the site.
\n\u00a0

Jamestown (CSi) University of Jamestown\u2019s soccer coach Thomas Nienhaus announces the signing of Kyle Fenske, Savage, MN who will join the Jimmies in the 2015-2016 season.<\/p>\n

Fenske will be a 2015 graduate of Prior Lake High School. He played soccer all four years of his high school career receiving an All-Conference Award his junior and senior years, All-State First Team and Star Tribune All-Metro First Team as a senior, and was captain of the soccer team his senior year. His team was section runner-up in 2013 and South Suburban Conference Champs in 2014.<\/p>\n

Coach Nienhaus says of Fenske\u2019s signing, “Kyle is our first commit and we couldn\u2019t be more excited. He is technical and versatile, two things we covet in our players. I\u2019m looking forward to working with him over the next four years.”Fenske plans to major in Physical Therapy while at the University of Jamestown.<\/p>\n

Police say a small group assaulted security staff and damaged property. Garner died in New York in July as he was arrested for selling untaxed cigarettes.
