BLOWING SNOW POSSIBLE THURSDAY.<\/p>\n<p>A CLIPPER SYSTEM IS\u00a0 FORECAST TO IMPACT NORTHERN AND EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA\u00a0 WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING.<\/p>\n<p>EVEN THOUGH THE HEAVIEST\u00a0\u00a0SNOW AMOUNTS ARE FORECAST ACROSS THE CANADIAN BORDER COUNTIES&#8230;SNOW\u00a0 AMOUNTS WILL GENERALLY REMAIN LESS THAN ONE INCH.\u00a0\u00a0 HOWEVER&#8230;THE MAIN IMPACT WILL BE THE WINDS BEHIND THE CLIPPER SYSTEM THURSDAY. STRONG\u00a0 WINDS COULD CREATE AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW THURSDAY.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS WITH GUSTS TO 40 MPH ARE FORECAST ACROSS WESTERN AND CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA ON THURSDAY. THIS MAY LEAD TO AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW AND REDUCED VISIBILITIES. THOSE PLANNING TRAVEL ACROSS THE STATE ON THURSDAY SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR POSSIBLE DIFFICULT TRAVEL CONDITIONS IN BLOWING SNOW. ANOTHER ROUND OF POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS ARE FORECAST THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY.<\/p>\n<p>IF YOU PLAN ON TRAVELING BE SURE TO FILL UP YOUR GAS TANK.
