Jamestown (CSi)\u00a0 Authorities are investigating an accident that occurred in the 8-a.m., hour on Monday on I-94 westbound on an overpass near Exit 260.<\/p>\n

Reports from the scene indicated two vehicle were involved, a pickup with a topper and an SUV.<\/p>\n

Westbound and eastbound traffic was delayed at the accident scene.<\/p>\n

Jamestown Area Ambulance Service transported the injured for treatment.<\/p>\n

The North Dakota Highway Patrol, Jamestown Police, and the Stutsman County Sheriff\u2019s Office reponded, along with the Jamestown Rescue Squad.<\/p>\n

Spiritwood (CSi)\u00a0\u00a0 Fire Saturday evening destroyed a Spiritwood home.<\/p>\n

The Jamestown Rural Fire Department responded to 2940 91st Avenue, Southeast<\/strong>, as the house was fully involved in flames when the fire units arrived on the scene.<\/p>\n

The owner of the two story house, Rosemary Jasmann was not at home when the fire broke out.<\/p>\n

However, the home was occupied by Charles Johnson who heard a loud bang, and found the second floor on fire.<\/p>\n

A partially collapsed chimney attatched to\u00a0a wood \u00a0stove\u00a0is believed to be the cause of\u00a0the fire, as a wood stove was loaded before the fire broke out.<\/p>\n

Johnson was not injured.<\/p>\n

\"FireJan31Spiritwood\"<\/a>Red Cross volunteers at the fire scene\u00a0 assisted\u00a0 Johnson and the firefighters with hot beverages and food.<\/p>\n

He and Jasmann stayed with relatives or friends Saturday night.<\/p>\n

Twenty firefighters and six units responded to the fire.\u00a0\u00a0A\u00a0 rural firefighter received a\u00a0cut\u00a0 hand.<\/p>\n

The home is a total loss according to Rural Fire Chief, Rick Woehl.<\/p>\n

Jamestown (CSi)\u00a0\u00a0 Over $31,000 was raised for the JRMC Hospice program in Saturday’s Polar Pig, Walk the Plank.<\/p>\n

El Zagal Clowns representative, Richard Klose was the first to walk the plank and \u00a0plunger\u00a0 at Stutsman Harley Davidson in Jamestown.<\/p>\n
