Kuehl participated in the Dakota Alliance South Dakota United team as well where he was South Dakota ODP Player of the Year for 2012.

Coach Nienhaus says of Kuehl, “Cody plays at a very intense level and has a high motor which makes him a handful for defenders. He has some parts to his game that he needs to refine. That will comes with time. I expect Cody to be able to compete for minutes this fall.”

Kuehl plans to major in business. There were many factors that came into play which brought him to Jamestown and he said, “The thing that most caught my attention was how much chemistry the team had both on and off the pitch. Having seen a squad so close to one another almost made my choice a no-brainer.”

The University of Jamestown was established in 1883 and is ranked as a top regional school in both US News and World Report and The Princeton Review.
