{"id":66336,"date":"2015-02-25T11:13:30","date_gmt":"2015-02-25T17:13:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=66336"},"modified":"2015-02-27T11:01:59","modified_gmt":"2015-02-27T17:01:59","slug":"vcsu-essentia-sanford-health-fair","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=66336","title":{"rendered":"VCSU Essentia Sanford Health Fair Mar 4"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/healthcarepros.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-28258\" alt=\"healthcarepros\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/healthcarepros.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"88\" \/><\/a>Valley City\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0 Valley City State University\u2019s Health Services, with support from Essentia Health and Sanford Health, will sponsor the VCSU Health Fair on Wednesday, March 4, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.<\/p>\n<p>The health fair will be held on the VCSU campus in the Student Center hallway, upper-level lounge and Skoal Room.<\/p>\n<p>The goals of the health fair are to motivate participants to make positive health behavior changes and increase awareness of local health services and resources by providing health screenings, activities, materials, demonstrations and information, according to Pat Egeberg, VCSU director of Student Health Services and Worksite Wellness coordinator.<\/p>\n<p>Participants will be able to obtain free samples and literature, register for door prizes, do fitness testing and blood pressure monitoring, and receive a free massage.<\/p>\n<p>Services and vendors registered for the health fair include the following:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Central Valley Health<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 CHI Mercy Health<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 City-County Health Department<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Creative Therapy<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Essentia Health<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Fuel Up to Play60<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 A Holistic Touch<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Massage by Mira<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 NDSU Extension Service<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Sanford Health<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Snap Fitness<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Valley City Parks &amp; Recreation<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 VCSU Counseling Services<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 VCSU Health Services<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 VCSU HPER 390 Fitness Assessment &amp; Exercise Prescription class<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 VCSU Nursing Program<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 VCSU Campus Violence Advocate<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Wellness at Revelations of Beauty<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 VCSU Athletic Training Club<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Young People\u2019s Healthy Heart Program<\/p>\n<p>The VCSU Health Fair is open to members of the Valley City State and general public free of charge.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Valley City\u00a0 (CSi)\u00a0 Valley City State University\u2019s Health Services, with support from Essentia Health and Sanford Health, will sponsor the VCSU Health Fair on Wednesday, March 4, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.
