The board will then have about a\u00a0month\u00a0 to accept or reject the bids.<\/p>\n<p>A few more contributions have been committed over the last two weeks, and another $3.8 million is pending.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown\u00a0 (CSi) \u00a0Jamestown Police is warning the public of a convicted sex offender\u00a0who has changed addresses in the\u00a0City of Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>The report says 42 year old Keith Michael Disbrow, now resides at\u00a0 1010 10th Avenue, Southeast <strong>Apt # 1 from Apt #2.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>His vehicle<strong> is now\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>a 1996 White Pontiac Grand Prix, with ND License plate KMG 200.<\/p>\n<p>Disbrow is a\u00a0 white male, 6 feet tall, weighing\u00a0383 \u00a0pounds with brown eyes and hair.<\/p>\n<p>He has been assigned a high risk assessment by the North Dakota Risk Level Committee of the North Dakota Attorney General\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p>Disbrow\u2019s offense: Sexual Imposition \u2013 Over the course of two years, Disbrow molested two girls who were 7-9 years old and 9-11 years old. Force and threats were used to make the victims comply. The conviction date was October 1, 2001, in Pembina County District Court. Disposition was 15 years with 10 years suspended for 10 years.<\/p>\n<p>Disbrow is not wanted by police at this time and is currently serving the sentence imposed by the court. This notification is meant for public safety and not to increase fear in the community, nor should this information be used to threaten, assault, or intimidate the offender. Attempts to harass, intimidate or threaten these offenders or their families, landlords or employers will be turned over for prosecution.<\/p>\n<p>Printed handouts of Disbrow\u2019s photo and demographics are available at the Jamestown Police Department.<\/p>\n<p>Disbrow is currently on probation with North Dakota Parole and Probation and has been placed on GPS monitoring.<\/p>\n<p>More information on registered offenders is available on the Attorney General\u2019s web site\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sexoffender.nd.gov\/\">www.sexoffender.nd.gov<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Jamestown (CSi)\u00a0 Jamestown Police is warning residents regarding a convicted sex offenders who has changed his address.<\/p>\n<p>Matthew Jacob Lee Graham is a 26 year old white male, 5\u201911\u2033 tall weighing 172 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair.<\/p>\n<p>He currently has no vehicle.<\/p>\n<p><strong>He now resides at 517 4th Street North West, Jamestown ND<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>He previously lived at 223 1st Ave South Apt#4 in Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>He has been assigned a high risk assessment by the North Dakot Risk Level Committee, of the North Dakota Attorney General\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p>His offense is listed as indecent exposure, stemming from exposing himself to a five year old male family friend.<\/p>\n<p>He was convicted in April of 2004 in Kidder Count.\u00a0 Disposition: \u00a0remanded to the Mesabi Academy treatment facility.<\/p>\n<p>Graham is not wanted by police at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court.<\/p>\n<p>This notification is meant for public safety and not to increase fear in the community, nor should this information be used to threaten, assault or intimidate the offender. (AP) &#8211; The investigation into a double-fatal school bus-train crash in northeastern North Dakota points to driver error.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The crash at a crossing outside Larimore Jan. 5 killed 17-year-old Larimore student Cassidy Sandstrom and 62-year-old bus driver Max Danner, and injured 12 other students.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Highway Patrol report on the crash says an autopsy found no evidence that Danner suffered a medical emergency. The report also says there was &#8220;significant braking&#8221; of the bus before it came to rest on the tracks. The bus was struck between 1\u00a0 1\/2 and 2 seconds later.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The report says the bus had no mechanical problems. (AP) &#8211; The North Dakota House majority leader wants all ballot initiatives with a $20 million or more fiscal impact to be on the general election ballot.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Fargo Republican Rep. Al Carlson told the House Judiciary Committee on Monday that the goal is to have more voters decide costly issues. He says up to twice as many voters turn out for a general election as they do for a primary election.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Carlson&#8217;s resolution is similar to one he pushed last session. But lawmakers amended that resolution and replaced the dollar amount with &#8220;significant fiscal impact.&#8221;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The resolution later became Measure 4 on the November ballot and voters rejected it.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) &#8211; A woman who was held captive for nine months will talk about how she overcame adversity during a public presentation at the University of North Dakota.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Elizabeth Smart-Gilmour was taken from her Salt Lake City bedroom in June 2002 at age 14 and held for nine months. She was repeatedly sexually assaulted, was moved from Utah to California and constantly threated with death if she tried to escape.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Since her rescue, she has started the Elizabeth Smart Foundation to protect children and educate them about violent and sexual crimes.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 UND officials say Smart-Gilmour&#8217;s presentation scheduled for March 30 will emphasize the importance of having hope during difficult situations.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The event is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) &#8211; Ten men and a woman are facing charges after being arrested during a two-day human trafficking and prostitution sting in western North Dakota.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Authorities in Williston on Monday said the individuals were arrested during the operation conducted Thursday and Friday.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Williams County Sheriff&#8217;s Office says undercover agents responded to internet ads for female escorts, and two men who drove the women to the arranged meetings were arrested. Forty-two-year-old Rasheed Abdul Rahim and 44-year-old Charles David Norton have been charged with one count of human trafficking.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 As part of the operation, authorities also posted ads for undercover adult escorts. Eight men who responded to the ads were arrested on charges of soliciting prostitution.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Twenty-six-year-old Tammie Suggs was arrested during the sting for ingestion of a controlled substance.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In sports\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown (CSi) University of Jamestown head men\u2019s soccer coach Tommy Nienhaus has announced the signing of Lasse Binder of Hamburg, Germany who will join the Jimmies in the 2015-2016 season.<\/p>\n<p>Binder attended school at Walddorfer Gymnasium in Hamburg. He played soccer in a variety of clubs including UA0 \u2013 UA2 Rahlstedter SC, UA@ &#8211; UA5 SC Concrodia, UA6 \u2013 UA7 ETV, and UA8 \u2013 UA9 SC Condor. In addition he participated in volleyball and the high jump.<\/p>\n<p>Coach Nienhaus says of Binder, &#8220;Lasse is a goalkeeper from Germany. Lasse has elite size for his position and solid technique. Lasse is our first German player and will bring a unique personality and quality to our program. He will push the other goalkeepers for minutes and has excellent habits on and off the field. I look forward to his growth and development.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Binder plans to major in Business Administration and will be a welcome addition to the University of Jamestown family. (AP) &#8211; An Amtrak passenger train has collided with a truck in North Carolina, toppling the engine on its side and causing several injuries. The sheriff in Halifax Countysays the accident occurred around noon. He says the injuries don&#8217;t appear to be life-threatening. The engine was on its side. The car directly behind the engine was derailed, and a third car was partially derailed.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 NEW YORK (AP) &#8211; New Yorkers are paying their respects to Cardinal Edward Egan at St. Patrick&#8217;s Cathedral. A public viewing was held Monday for Egan, who died Thursday at 82. He lay in an open casket that rested on the altar steps. Egan&#8217;s funeral Mass will be tomorrow at St. Patrick&#8217;s, where he will be buried beneath the high altar. Egan retired in 2009. He played a prominent role in New York City after the Sept. 11 terror attacks.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 SAN FRANCISCO (AP) &#8211; Apple has unveiled its Apple Watch.
