HIGHS IN THE MID 40S.<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown (CSi) Jamestown Police is warning residents regarding a convicted sex offenders who has again changed his address.<\/p>\n<p>Matthew Jacob Lee Graham is a 26 year old white male, 5&#8217;11&#8221; tall weighing 172 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair.<\/p>\n<p>He currently has no vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>He now lives at 1610 Business Loop East, #2, Jamestown, ND<\/p>\n<p>He previously resided at 517 4th Street NW , Jamestown ND<\/p>\n<p>He previously lived at 223 1st Ave South Apt#4 in Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>He has been assigned a high risk assessment by the North Dakot Risk Level Committee, of the North Dakota Attorney General\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p>His offense is listed as indecent exposure, stemming from exposing himself to a five year old male family friend.<\/p>\n<p>He was convicted in April of 2004 in Kidder Count. Disposition: remanded to the Mesabi Academy treatment facility.<\/p>\n<p>Graham is not wanted by police at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court.<\/p>\n<p>This notification is meant for public safety and not to increase fear in the community, nor should this information be used to threaten, assault or intimidate the offender. (AP) &#8211; Bismarck police are searching for a man who unsuccessfully tried to rob a convenience store.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Authorities say a man who appeared drunk entered a Loaf &#8216;N Jug store about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, brandished a knife and demanded money.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The clerk refused that demand and a second demand for cigarettes, and the man fled empty-handed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0MINOT, N.D. (AP) &#8211; A 45-year-old Minot woman has been arrested for murder after authorities found her 3-month-old daughter dead in their apartment.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Minot Police Department says the woman told a deputy during a traffic stop that she had left her baby home alone. It says officers responded to the woman&#8217;s apartment, where they discovered the girl dead.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The department is considering the death as a homicide. An investigation is ongoing.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 More information is expected to be released Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) &#8211; A man who led police on an hour-long chase from the Standing Rock Indian Reservation to Bismarck earlier this month is charged in federal court.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Authorities say William Schneider fled after he was pulled over by Bureau of Indian Affairs officers on March 3 near Fort Yates. One of the officers was allegedly hurt after he tried to stop Schneider from driving away.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Court documents show that Schneider drove as fast as 95 mph during the chase and ordered a passenger to throw out a bag of drugs and a firearm.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Schneider is charged with assault of a federal officer and felon in possession of a firearm. He has previous convictions for possession of a controlled substance and assault.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A federal public defender could not be reached for comment.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) &#8211; A Grand Forks man has pleaded not guilty to charges that he neglected a child and attempted to disarm a police officer in Bismarck.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Eric Knight is accused of trying to take the gun of an officer who helped conduct a welfare check on a 2-year-old child at a Bismarck hotel on Feb. 8.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Defense attorney Jeff Bredahl maintains that officers entered the hotel room without a warrant, and he questions the necessity of the encounter.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Bredahl is scheduled for trial in late June on felony charges of child neglect, preventing arrest and attempting to disarm a law enforcement officer.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) &#8211; Two men are facing federal drug charges stemming from a $2.5 million heroin drug bust that took place during a traffic stop in North Dakota.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The state charges against 47-year-old Frank Villa and 56-year-old Charles Ahumada have been dismissed, and instead, the men are facing federal counts involving possession and distribution of a controlled substance.\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Authorities say a North Dakota Highway Patrol trooper pulled over a car with Nevada license plates in December on Interstate 94. With the help of a K9 unit, the trooper discovered 4.5 pounds of heroin wrapped in bricks. The drug was valued at $2.5 million.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Villa is from Tempe, Arizona, and Ahumada is from Tucson, Arizona. Villa&#8217;s attorney didn&#8217;t immediately return a call seeking comment, and Ahumada&#8217;s attorney couldn&#8217;t be reached.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0BISMARCK, N.D. He is a former teacher.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Stemen will succeed Grand Forks attorney Grant Shaft, whose is stepping down June 30 after serving two four-year terms. (AP) &#8211; Minot Air Force Base is celebrating the completion of a $36 million B-52 bomber maintenance facility. The 80,000-square-foot building is the base&#8217;s first facility capable of fully enclosing two bombers at one time. The project also involved extending the adjacent apron and paving a new parking lot for personnel.<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0In sports&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) &#8211; North Dakota&#8217;s House doesn&#8217;t want residents to have a nine-day head start over nonresidents to trap muskrats in the state. The bill also would have expanded the trapping season for residents by about two months. Kenmare Republican Rep. Glen Froseth called muskrats a &#8220;scourge.&#8221; He says the rodents with a musk-like odor cause a lot of destruction to roads and culverts. Forseth says restricting muskrat trapping &#8220;is not a good idea.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>FARGO, N.D. (AP) &#8211; Racing officials in North Dakota have moved to leave a horse park in Fargo without races this summer because of the facility&#8217;s debt problems.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 State racing commissioner Gunner laCour\u00a0says \u00a0the North Dakota Horse Park owes nearly $2 million in tax increment financing to the city of Fargo. The facility was supposed to start paying off its debt March 1, but no payments have been made.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The commission last year had authorized races at the Fargo race track on July 18, 19, 25 and 26 and Aug. 1 and 2.
