Valley City (CSi)\u00a0 The\u00a0 Valley City Water Main District 97 Project is\u00a0proceeding\u00a0on 4th Street Northwest.\u00a0 Construction\u00a0 in the intersection of 4th Street Northwest and 5th Avenue Northwest is expected to occur on Tuesday June 9th, 2015, with the intersection closed.<\/p>\n

Valley City (CSi) The Valley City permanent flood protection project continues, with storm sewer and water main work.<\/p>\n
Presently work is on College Street in the Valley City State University area.<\/p>\n
The next phase requires College Street to be closed from 2nd Ave SE to 3rd Ave SE between the Rhodes Science Center and the bridge to the east.<\/p>\n
Motorists are asked to avoid driving across the 3rd Avenue Southeast bridge with the exception of residents in that area. Access will be limited to residents along College Street in the area of the closure, and officials are asking people to not park on the streets in the adjacent streets to allow those residents a place to park.<\/p>\n
The previously closed 5th Avenue Southwest and Viking Drive with remain closed.<\/p>\n
