Voting and ID requirements are the same as the 2014 General Election and are detailed further down on this page.<\/p>\n<p>ELECTION DAY<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; <strong>June 2nd, 2015 , at the Jamestown Civic Center<\/strong>. \u00a0Use <strong>NORTH DOOR<\/strong> \u00a0Polls will be open from 7:00 AM &#8211; 7:00 PM.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">In \u00a0order to vote in North Dakota, you must be;<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>A U.S. Citizen<\/li>\n<li>At least 18 years old on election day<\/li>\n<li>A legal North Dakota resident<\/li>\n<li>A resident in the precinct for 30 days preceding the election<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>North Dakota does not currently have voter registration however the State does require you to provide an acceptable form of ID.<\/p>\n<p>WHAT IS AN ACCEPTABLE FORM OF ID?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Polling Place Voting<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A Valid North Dakota:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Driver\u2019s license<\/li>\n<li>Non-driver\u2019s identification card<\/li>\n<li>Tribal government issued identification card<\/li>\n<li>Student identification certificate (provided by ND college or university)<\/li>\n<li>Long-term care identification certificate (provided by ND facility)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Absentee Voting<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>North Dakota form of identification listed above<\/li>\n<li>Passport or Military ID \u2013 Only for North Dakota residents living outside the United States who do not possess one of the other forms of identification.<\/li>\n<li>Attester \u2013 An applicant without an acceptable form of identification may use an attester. The attester must provide his or her name, North Dakota driver\u2019s license, non-driver\u2019s, or tribal identification number, and sign the absentee\/mail ballot application form to attest to the applicant\u2019s North Dakota residency and voting eligibility.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Identification must include the voter&#8217;s Name, Residential Address and Birth Date.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>WHAT WILL MY BALLOT LOOK LIKE?<\/p>\n<p>Sample ballots are available for every election. They are posted in the County&#8217;s official newspaper as well as being available online at the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/vip.sos.nd.gov\/WhereToVote.aspx?tab=4\">North Dakota Secretary of State&#8217;s<\/a>\u00a0website.<\/p>\n<p>WHERE DO I VOTE?<\/p>\n<p>All residents of \u00a0<strong>JAMESTOWN<\/strong> can vote at the Civic Center in Jamestown on Election Day.
