Resuming Talks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/hockey.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-5841\" title=\"hockey\" src=\"https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/hockey.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"114\" \/><\/a>NEW YORK (AP Nov 19, 2012) &#8211; For the first time in eight days, the NHL and<br \/>\nthe players&#8217; association are heading back to the bargaining table<br \/>\nto try again to reach a deal that will end the two-month old lockout.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Talks will resume on Monday, the 65th day of the lockout that<br \/>\nhas already wiped out 327 games and threatens the entire season if<br \/>\na settlement isn&#8217;t reached soon.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 After turning down a suggestion from NHL Commissioner Gary<br \/>\nBettman to take a two-week break from negotiations, the union<br \/>\nrequested another meeting with the league that was scheduled<br \/>\nSaturday. It will be the first bargaining session between the sides<br \/>\nsince Nov. 11, when a busy week of negotiating wrapped up with a<br \/>\nsession that lasted just over an over and didn&#8217;t produce any<br \/>\nresults.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 All games through Nov. 30 and the New Year&#8217;s Day Winter Classic<br \/>\nhave been called off.
