{"id":76163,"date":"2015-07-03T09:13:12","date_gmt":"2015-07-03T14:13:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=76163"},"modified":"2015-07-04T11:36:34","modified_gmt":"2015-07-04T16:36:34","slug":"fatal-crash-hwy-52-near-pingree-july-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=76163","title":{"rendered":"Fatal Crash Hwy 52 near Pingree July 3"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pingree, ND (CSi) &#8211; The North Dakota Highway patrol reports a fatal head-on pickup and semi truck crash occurred at 3:12am July 3, 2015,\u00a0 3.5 miles north of Pingree on Highway 52, killing the\u00a0 driver of the pickup.<\/p>\n<p>The 2014 Ram pickup driven by\u00a0 24 year Adam Allmaras\u00a0of New Rockford was southbound, then drifted onto the northbound lane.<\/p>\n<p>The International semi truck, driven by 56 year old Bernard Gorman of Adrian,\u00a0 was northbound.\u00a0 Gorman attempted to avoid the crash by braking and driving onto the east shoulder.\u00a0\u00a0 A crash occurred, causing the International to enter the east ditch.\u00a0 The Ram came to rest on the southbound lane.<\/p>\n<p>The extent of injuries to Gorman have not been released.\u00a0 Sgt Tom Herzig of the ND Highway Patrol estimates $35,000 in damages to the pickup,\u00a0 and $30,000 to the International Semi.\u00a0 Gorman was wearing a seatbelt.\u00a0 It is unknown if the driver of the pickup was wearing a seatbelt.<\/p>\n<p>The highway was shut down for two hours.\u00a0 The crash remains under investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Agencies involved Stutsman and Foster County Sheriff Offices, Pingree and Carrington Fire\/Rescue, and Carrington PD.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pingree, ND (CSi) &#8211; The North Dakota Highway patrol reports a fatal head-on pickup and semi truck crash occurred at 3:12am July 3, 2015,\u00a0 3.5 miles north of Pingree on Highway 52, killing the\u00a0 driver of the pickup.
