SEVERE POTENTIAL AT THIS POINT IS VERY<br \/>\nUNCERTAIN\u2026BUT LIGHTNING WILL BE A THREAT WITH ANY STORM.<br \/>\nJamestown (CSi) The two women who escaped from the North Dakota State Hospital Thursday night were sighted at the Dakota Square Mall in Minot about 2 p.m. Friday.\u00a0 In an updated news release, the North Dakota Highway Patrol, reported that 33 year old\u00a0Natonie Ann Decoteau,\u00a0 and 28 year old Valinda Belinda Jean Tyndall,\u00a0 possibly left the mall in a black Ford Mustang bearing North Dakota license plate JYF128 and heading in an unknown direction.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone who witnesses either escape suspect,\u00a0is asked to\u00a0\u00a0call 911 and report\u00a0the sighting.\u00a0 Do not attempt to apprehend or approach either suspect.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/escapees.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-76620\" alt=\"escapees\" src=\"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/escapees-300x199.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/escapees-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/escapees-263x175.jpg 263w, https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/escapees.jpg 841w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Jamestown (CSi) The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports, that at approximately 8:47pm yesterday (July 9<sup>th<\/sup>, 2015,) two individuals escaped from a ND Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation funded addiction treatment unit at the North Dakota State Hospital in Jamestown. The individuals escaped from a fenced outdoor enclosure at the treatment facility.<\/p>\n<p>The escapees are:<\/p>\n<p>Natonie Ann Decoteau, 33 YOA, Native American Female, 5\u20195\u2033, 180 lbs, with short brown hair and brown eyes. Decoteau was in the custody of the ND Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation and is considered an escaped inmate. She is currently serving a sentence for a probation violation and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>28 year olf Valinda Belinda Jean Tyndall, , Native American Female, 5\u20193\u2033, 140 lbs, pink\/blonde\/brown hair and brown eyes. Tyndall is under the supervision of the ND Parole and Probation and is considered an absconded probationer. She is currently on probation for an escape that occurred in 2014.\u00a0 Decoteau has ties to the Belcourt and Fargo, ND areas. Tyndall has ties to the Bismarck, ND area.<\/p>\n<p>The Highway Patrol is asking for the public\u2019s assistance in locating both Decoteau and Tyndall. If either Decoteau or Tyndall area spotted, do not approach them. Contact law enforcement immediately by dialing 911 or call North Dakota State Radio Communications Center at 1-800-472-2121.<\/p>\n<p>The women are not considered to be a danger to the public, according to a State Hospital staff person.<\/p>\n<p>Updates here at CSiNewsNow.com<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown (CSi) The James River Humane Society welcomes the public to the Open House July 18, 2015, from 10 am to 2 pm<\/p>\n<p>On Friday\u2019s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, JRHS President Matt Opsahl said, there will be a grill out, face painting, air games, a dog-kissing contest, and there will be a reduced fee on animal adoptions that day.<\/p>\n<p>Opsahl added that cook books, and calendars for fundraisers are available for purchase in at $20 per cook book and $20 for a calendar.<\/p>\n<p>As always, the shelter is accepting donations of rawhides, cleaning supplies, treats, and toys. (AP) \u2013 North Dakota Transportation Department officials have closed state Highway 49 near Beulah due to the crash of a semitrailer hauling sulfuric acid.<\/p>\n<p>Highway Patrol Lt. Tom Iverson says the driver, 29-year-old\u00a0 Eric Schmidt, of Bismarck, was able to get out of the semi by himself after losing control of the vehicle on a curve about 7:15 a.m., on Friday. He was taken to a Hazen hospital to be checked out. No other vehicles were involved.<br \/>\nThe semi was traveling north on Highway 49 approximately four miles south of Beulah.\u00a0Schmidt failed to negotiate a left-hand curve in the roadway and drove into the east ditch. The semi overturned upon entering the ditch. Schmidt was able to get out of the vehicle and walk up to the road.<\/p>\n<p>The semi was hauling sulfuric acid. During the crash, the trailer was damaged and began to leak. At this time, it is unknown how much of the product spilled.<\/p>\n<p>The scene is being stabilized so crews can asses the amount of leaked product and remove the vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>Assisting at the scene were the Mercer Co. Sheriff, Hazen Fire, Bismarck Fire Hazmat, and Dickinson Fire.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>ROCKLAKE, N.D. (AP) &#8211; A Grand Forks man is dead after crashing his pickup truck in Towner County.<\/p>\n<p>The Highway Patrol says the 49-year-old man lost control of the vehicle on a curve on U.S. Highway 281 about 6 a.m. Friday, and the pickup rolled in the ditch.<\/p>\n<p>The man died at the scene near Rocklake. The patrol did not immediately identify him. He was alone in the pickup.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) &#8211; Two people were injured in a collision involving a minivan and a Bismarck police car.<\/p>\n<p>The Highway Patrol says the van crashed into the passenger side of the squad car at an intersection Thursday afternoon. Authorities say the police officer was responding to a call and had activated his car&#8217;s emergency lights and siren.<\/p>\n<p>The officer was not hurt.<\/p>\n<p>The van&#8217;s driver and a passenger were taken to a hospital with injuries that authorities say are not life-threatening. Both are from Fort Yates. The patrol has forwarded the case to the Burleigh County State&#8217;s Attorney&#8217;s Office for review.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) &#8211; A Bismarck woman is facing a felony child neglect charge after allegedly losing track of a 3-year-old child while high on methamphetamine.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities say 28-year-old Darcy Moore called the Mandan Police Department on Wednesday afternoon to report a missing child. The complaint against her alleges that she told officers she took a nap at the residence and the child was gone when she woke up. Officers say she was under the influence of meth.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0 child was found wandering in a mobile home park and put in the custody of social service workers.<\/p>\n<p>Moore could face up to five years in prison if convicted. Court documents do not list an attorney for her, and a home telephone listing could not be found.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>FARGO, N.D. (AP) &#8211; Lawyers connected to a North Dakota Supreme Court ruling over the authority of North Dakota State University police say the distribution of fines from NDSU to the city of Fargo violated the state Constitution.<\/p>\n<p>Attorneys Mark Friese (freeze) and Charlie Sheeley tell KFGO radio that the fines collected by NDSU police have been illegally funneled to the city. Friese says the money should go to the state&#8217;s common schools trust fund.<\/p>\n<p>State Rep. Al Carlson, of Fargo, says the city may have to pay the money back to the state. He says he&#8217;ll seek an attorney general&#8217;s opinion on how to proceed.<\/p>\n<p>Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem declined comment.<\/p>\n<p>The Supreme Court ruling said an NDSU officer did not have authority to arrest a woman for drunken driving off campus.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) &#8211; North Dakota oil drillers in May nearly matched the state&#8217;s record production despite weak crude prices.<\/p>\n<p>The Department of Mineral Resources says North Dakota oil production was pegged at 1.2 million barrels daily in May. That&#8217;s up about 3 percent from April.<\/p>\n<p>May&#8217;s production was about 20,000 barrels a day less than the record set in December. Oil production figures have a two-month lag time.<\/p>\n<p>The state produced 50 million cubic feet of natural gas in May, an all-time high. The natural gas flaring rate remained unchanged at 18 percent.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) &#8211; Hundreds of lawmakers from the Midwest and Canada are meeting in Bismarck to focus on issues facing the region.<\/p>\n<p>The Midwestern Legislative Conference begins Saturday and wraps up Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>North Dakota Sen. Tim Flakoll of Fargo is chairman of the Midwestern Legislative Conference and the host for the event. Flakoll says more than 550 lawmakers from 11 states and four Canadian provinces are slated to attend.<\/p>\n<p>Flakoll says topics include economic development, education, health care and criminal justice.<\/p>\n<p>The conference includes tours of agriculture facilities and western North Dakota&#8217;s booming oil patch.<\/p>\n<p>Speakers at the event will include Buzz Aldrin, the second person to walk on the moon.<\/p>\n<p>Flakoll says the last time Bismarck hosted the annual conference was almost 25 years ago. (AP) &#8211; The 30-foot-tall flagpole where the Confederate flag flew for 15 years on the front lawn of the South Carolina Capitol has been pulled down. A crane yanked the pole from the ground\u00a0Friday afternoon, just over four hours after the flag itself was removed. Gov. Nikki Haley called for the flag&#8217;s removal after the June 17 massacre of nine black parishioners at a Charleston church. A white man is charged, and authorities say the killings were racially motivated.<\/p>\n<p>ATHENS, Greece (AP) &#8211; Greece&#8217;s new finance minister claims his country will win better terms for a bailout deal in the aftermath of Sunday&#8217;s referendum, despite angering creditor countries. Speaking to the country&#8217;s parliament, he said the new proposed deal would provide three years of financing for Greece, with repayments spaced more evenly than under previous bailouts. He said there was also growing consensus for the need for a long-term debt relief agreement by 2022, when interest payments are set to surge.<\/p>\n<p>VIENNA (AP) &#8211; Iran&#8217;s foreign minister is accusing the United States of shifting its demands at the talks in Vienna on Iran&#8217;s nuclear program. And he&#8217;s dismissing a warning that the U.S. is ready to leave the negotiations. Even after those comments, the Iranian met today with Secretary of State John Kerry to try again to resolve the differences standing in the way of a deal. The goal is sanctions relief for Iran, in exchange for curbs on nuclear programs that Iran could use to make weapons.<\/p>\n<p>SAN FRANCISCO (AP) &#8211; San Francisco&#8217;s sheriff is defending the release of a Mexican immigrant who later was accused of randomly killing a young woman. The sheriff says federal authorities failed to provide legal basis to continue to hold the man. He told reporters Friday that his department followed procedure and local laws when they released Juan Francisco Lopez Sanchez in April after an arrest warrant from years earlier on marijuana charges against him was dismissed.
