A status hearing on the case is scheduled next month in Fargo.<\/p>\n
Authorities say Rodriguez, a convicted sex offender, abducted 22-year-old UND student Dru Sjodin (shuh-DEEN’) from the parking lot of a Grand Forks shopping mall in November 2003. Her body was found five months later near Crookston, Minnesota, where Rodriguez lived with his mother.<\/p>\n
Lawyers on both sides declined to comment to KFGO radio about the alleged juror misconduct.
