{"id":79113,"date":"2015-08-13T09:10:49","date_gmt":"2015-08-13T14:10:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=79113"},"modified":"2015-08-14T18:25:48","modified_gmt":"2015-08-14T23:25:48","slug":"thurs-morning-power-outage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=79113","title":{"rendered":"Cause listed for power outage Thurs AM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown (CSI) The City of Jamestown experienced some power outages Thursday morning.<\/p>\n<p>[easyrotator]erc_25_1439475868[\/easyrotator]<\/p>\n<p>Ottertail Power&#8217;s Jeff Hoff says the power outage was from 7:51 a.m., to 8:51 a.m., and was caused by an underground fault in the area of\u00a0 the post office, and Bank Forward in Downtown Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>The circuit was rerouted as Otter Tail crews repair the underground fault.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/poweroutageYellow445.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-79127\" alt=\"poweroutageYellow445\" src=\"https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/poweroutageYellow445-300x205.png\" width=\"300\" height=\"205\" \/><\/a>The power outage included an area from the railroad tracks south to 10th St SE, \u00a0from approximately 2 Av SW to 4 Av SE, \u00a0including downtown businesses.<\/p>\n<p>The Jamestown City Fire Department&#8217;s Ready Squad was responding to fire alarms that were triggered by the outage, and resetting, including one report at the James House.<\/p>\n<p>Police Thursday morning was directing traffic, including 10th Street Southeast until power\u00a0was restored. \u00a0Signal lights were off at Cashwise, Hardee&#8217;s, other in the downtown area. \u00a0The street department\u00a0had put up temporary stop-signs at some intersections.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown (CSI) The City of Jamestown experienced some power outages Thursday morning.
