{"id":79811,"date":"2015-08-20T21:41:29","date_gmt":"2015-08-21T02:41:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=79811"},"modified":"2015-08-22T13:24:44","modified_gmt":"2015-08-22T18:24:44","slug":"fire-i94-jamestown-nd","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/csinewsnow.com\/?p=79811","title":{"rendered":"Semi-trailer fire Thurs I-94 Exit 248"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown Rural Fire Department was called to a semi pulling a trailer with an excavator, \u00a0on fire about 3:35 Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>[easyrotator]erc_88_1440106625[\/easyrotator]<\/p>\n<pre style=\"text-align: center;\">CSi photos by Thomas Ravely<\/pre>\n<p>The rig\u00a0 pulled off at I-94 eastbound at the Exit 248 off ramp, near Eldridge.<\/p>\n<p>The fire\u00a0 created a large amount of black smoke, and spread to a patch of grass on the side of the highway.\u00a0\u00a0A Stutsman County Sheriff&#8217;s Deputy closed the ramp\u00a0entrance and traffic was allowed, on the interstate.<\/p>\n<p>The driver indicated to authorities that a tire on the unit blew out and started the fire.<\/p>\n<p>The driver was able to disconnect the trailer from the truck and remove the excavator\u00a0on the trailer.<\/p>\n<p>Damage reported to the trailer and some damage to the excavator. \u00a0The truck, owned by Bohlman\u00a0 Trenching Service from Thompson, North Dakota, \u00a0did not receive damage.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown Rural Fire Department was called to a semi pulling a trailer with an excavator, \u00a0on fire about 3:35 Thursday afternoon.
