News Nov 28, 2012) &#8212; Remodeling to accommodate new services at the James River Family Y in Jamestown is continuing.<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday\u2019s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, the Y\u2019s Executive Director, Cory Anderson said, racquetball courts three and four are being converted into the new Nautilus and Fitness Center, including &#8220;Nautilus On Demand.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Also new will be the Golf Center, where golfers over the winter will be able to practice on a putting green, and participate in virtual golf activities, and a &#8220;swing<\/p>\n<p>station.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He added, the James River Family Y is the area location for programs listed by Blue Cross\/Blue Shield of North Dakota, including the Silver Sneakers program, along with track walking, and the use of cardio equipment, and the swimming pool.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that the Y is planning a soon to be announced holiday promotion.<\/p>\n<p>Anderson pointed out the Y is planning a new web site JamestownY.com and JamestownY.org<\/p>\n<p>The upcoming holiday hours include open Christmas Eve 5-a.m. to 4-p.m., closed Christmas Day. (AP) &#8211; A Minnesota company has been fined $2,000<br \/>\nfor hitting an oil pipeline while workers were installing new sewer<br \/>\nand water lines near Dickinson.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 North Dakota&#8217;s Public Service Commission voted Wednesday to<br \/>\nimpose the fine against Shores Cos. Inc. of Evansville.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Commission Chairman Brian Kalk says Shores has declined to<br \/>\nrespond to agency questions about the incident in October 2011. He<br \/>\nsaid the company didn&#8217;t show up for a hearing to explain its<br \/>\nversion of events.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Shores Cos. (AP) &#8211; Plans to build a permanent truck bypass<br \/>\naround Williston have been complicated by what North Dakota<br \/>\nTransportation Director Francis Ziegler says is an<br \/>\n&#8220;unprecedented&#8221; discovery of American Indian artifacts.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ziegler says the artifacts uncovered along the preferred route<br \/>\nfor the bypass include burial sites and stone circles. At least one<br \/>\ntribe has asked for the route plans to be abandoned.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Crews earlier this year completed a temporary bypass in the area<br \/>\nto help route heavy oil field truck traffic around Williston and<br \/>\nease congestion in city limits.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Deputy Transportation Director Grant Levi says officials will look at options for a permanent bypass that doesn&#8217;t disturb the artifacts. (AP) &#8211; North Dakota regulators are asking a judge<br \/>\nfor permission to take control of the Falkirk Farmers Elevator<br \/>\nCompany.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Public Service Commission documents say Falkirk owes more than<br \/>\n$270,000 to at least seven people. Falkirk was based in Washburn<br \/>\nand operated grain elevators at Falkirk and Hazen.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The commission voted Wednesday to ask a judge to rule that the<br \/>\nelevator can&#8217;t pay its bills. If that happens, the commission will<br \/>\nsell off the company&#8217;s assets so its creditors can be paid.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The two elevators were closed in April, and they&#8217;ve already been<br \/>\nsold to other companies. (AP) &#8211; A defunct oilseed processing plant in<br \/>\neastern North Dakota has been sold through an auction to an<br \/>\nundisclosed buyer.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Agweek reports that the former Northwood Mills plant sold on<br \/>\nTuesday for $1.1 million. Only a handful of people bid on the plant<br \/>\nduring the auction in a plant repair shop.
