He&#8217;s been out since tearing the ACL and LCL on March 9.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He&#8217;s still waiting to see how his knee responds to his first<br \/>\ncontact practice before setting a date to play in his first game.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Rubio says it&#8217;s been difficult to be patient through the<br \/>\nprocess, but he feels pleased to be slightly ahead of schedule.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>MINNEAPOLIS (AP Nov 28, 2012) &#8211; Ricky Rubio has been cleared to begin practicing with the Minnesota Timberwolves for the first time since tearing ligaments in his left knee last March.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Rubio met with the doctor who performed his surgery in Vail,<br \/>\nColo., this week to get the final clearance, and the team announced<br \/>\nthat he was given the green light Wednesday.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Rubio tore the ACL in his left knee in a game against the Lakers<br \/>\non March 9. The Wolves have sorely missed their dynamic point<br \/>\nguard. They are 6-7 this season without him heading into a game<br \/>\nagainst the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Timberwolves likely will be off on Thursday before playing<br \/>\nagain Friday night.
