NORTH.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown (CSi) Officials with Otter Tail Power in Jamestown report two poles along 5<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Street Northwest (Stockyard Road) were broken when a line was All affected areas near Fort Seward had power restored late Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Otter Tail crews were installing the two new poles and re-stringing the lines, which was expected to be completed by later Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown (CSi) With the doubling of boarding\u2019s over the past year, Jamestown Regional Airport is seeing the need for additional TSA security officers.<\/p>\n<p>In a news release, Jamestown Regional Airport Manager Samuel Seafeldt said, the job includes part-time work with full-time benefits.<\/p>\n<p>H pointed out that a similar call was issued earlier this year without any success.<\/p>\n<p>He said, &#8220;Since I started as Manager at the airport 11 months ago, I have noticed their staffing shortage. (AP) &#8211; Fargo Police are investigating an early\u00a0 morning robbery todoay, outside a fast food restaurant.<\/p>\n<p>Two men approached an employee of a Taco John&#8217;s outside the back of the restaurant just after midnight. The men asked the employee for money, and when he refused, two gunshots went off.<\/p>\n<p>Police say the first shot missed, but the second hit the worker, causing minor injuries. The two suspects fled the scene.<\/p>\n<p>The employee was treated at a local hospital.<\/p>\n<p>The incident remains under investigation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>MANDAN, N.D. (AP) &#8211; Authorities have released the name of a 31-year-old Mandan man killed when his sport utility vehicle struck a stationary rail car in McLean County.<\/p>\n<p>The North Dakota Highway Patrol says Luke Meiers was killed in the August 28th afternoon wreck on Frontage Road a block south of Main Street after the SUV hit a Canadian Pacific rail car. (AP) &#8211; A 28-year-old McKenzie County sheriff&#8217;s deputy pulled from his burning department sport utility vehicle following a crash with a semi-truck has been transferred to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Chris Cloud was on his first day of patrol after completing field training Wednesday morning when he slowed to make a U-turn to go after a speeding vehicle. The SUV was rear-ended by a semi on Highway 200 and the vehicle burst into flames.<\/p>\n<p>Cloud was airlifted to Bismarck for treatment, and he has since been transferred to the Mayo Clinic.<\/p>\n<p>The truck driver was not injured.<\/p>\n<p>Friends and loved ones have set up an online fundraiser for the deputy and family. (AP) &#8211; A North Dakota man has been sentenced to 11 years in federal prison for distributing methamphetamine.<\/p>\n<p>Kendall Feist, of Grand Forks, pleaded guilty in March to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute a controlled substance. Authorities say Feist bought meth from the Twin Cities area in February 2014 and sold it to people primarily in Grand Forks and Bismarck.<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutors had recommended a sentence of at least 12 years, citing Feist&#8217;s extensive criminal history.<\/p>\n<p>Feist was ordered to forfeit more than $8,600 that was seized when he was arrested in June 2014.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) &#8211; A northeastern North Dakota farmer charged with terrorizing law enforcement officials in 2011 has been acquitted.<\/p>\n<p>Defense attorney Mark Friese says a jury in Grand Forks found Rodney Brossart, of rural Lakota, not guilty on one count of felony terrorizing on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutors accused Brossart of threatening law enforcement officials in June of 2011 who came to his property look for missing cattle.<\/p>\n<p>A jury in 2013 found Brossart guilty of terrorizing and misdemeanor charges of preventing arrest and failing to comply with state laws on wandering cattle. The North Dakota Supreme Court in January threw out his terrorizing conviction, citing a mistake in jury instructions.<\/p>\n<p>Friese says he and his co-counsel requested the case not be tried again, but prosecuted successfully sought a retrial.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>BISMARCK, N.D.
