News Nov 6, 2012) \u2014 Jamestown Police is warning Jamestown Residents of a convicted sex offender, who has changed address in Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>The report says, 42 year old Gero Mahto\u00a0 has moved from\u00a0331 \u00a04<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue, Southwest in Jamestown, and as of Dec. 4, 2012, \u00a0now resides at<\/p>\n<p>414 4th Street Northeast, in Jamestown..Apt # 1.<\/p>\n<p>His vehicle is a Blue and White 1990 Ford F250 Pickup with North Dakota License<\/p>\n<p>JSZ 185. Also a Green 1998 Ford Expedition (ND) Notary Sticker.<\/p>\n<p>Mahto has been assigned a High Risk Assessment by the North Dakota Risk Level Committee of the North Dakota Attorney General\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p>He was convicted of Gross Sexual Imposition. During a period of three months in 1992, Mahto forcibly raped four women. News Dec 4, 2012) &#8212; Moving control of the 9-1-1 operations from Valley City control to Barnes County, will be delayed.<\/p>\n<p>Originally the proposed plan was to have the change take effect on January 1, 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Valley City Commissioner, Duane Magnuson has said that Valley City should renegotiate the cost share ratio, among other issues related to the 9-1-1 transfer.<\/p>\n<p>The Barnes County Commissioners voted 3-2 to develop a Resolution to clear up the issues of control and distribution of funds with the cost ratio.<\/p>\n<p>County Commissioners John Froelich and Phil Leitner voted against the Resolution, being opposed to moving transfer of the 9-1-1 dispatch center control from Valley City to Barnes County.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, Valley City Administrator, David Schelkoph, at a County Commission meeting, told the County Commissioners, that the move should be delayed until July of 2013, which the County Commission voted to do at Tuesday\u2019s County Commission meeting.<\/p>\n<p>Schelkoph said he was grateful that Barnes County has agreed to the delay<\/p>\n<p>Valley City had threatened the county with a lawsuit if it assumed the 9-1-1 dispatch contract on 1, January, 2013, seven months before the tentative contract was going to expire.<\/p>\n<p>Barnes County Commissioner Eldred Knutson said it\u2019s time to move forward not backwards on the take over.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News Dec 4, 2012) &#8212; The Jamestown Choralaires will present their Christmas Dinner Concert, &#8220;\u2019 Tis The Season,&#8221; on Friday December 7, 2012, and Saturday December 8<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>The concert will start at 7-O\u2019Clock each evening at St. John\u2019s Academy\u2019s Zebedee Center.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday\u2019s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, Choralaires spokesman, Roger Caine said, tickets are $30 each and are available only at Looysen I Care, on 1<sup>st<\/sup> Avenue South in Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>When reserving tickets, those purchasing tickets will be shown a seating arrangement to choose from.<\/p>\n<p>He said seating is limited to 200 each evening, and he suggests reserving tickets early.<\/p>\n<p>The dinner will be Festive Chicken Breast, with holiday trimmings, catered by Emma Rose of Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to entertaining the Choralaires between numbers serve and bus the tables.<\/p>\n<p>The music will consist of Christian and secular songs, including the full group, and solos and small groups.<\/p>\n<p>Caine says the Choralaires presently have 45 members and rehearse on Wednesday evenings at Jamestown Middle School<\/p>\n<p>\u3000<\/p>\n<p>BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) &#8211; North Dakota is getting a federal grant of nearly $1.4 million to help with recovery efforts following last year&#8217;s historic Missouri River flooding in the Bismarck-Mandan area.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The state&#8217;s congressional delegation announced the Federal Emergency Management Agency grant on Tuesday. The money is in addition to other FEMA flood-recovery funding that already has been announced.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Sens. John Hoeven and Kent Conrad and Rep. According to a criminal complaint, people<br \/>\nin Mexico dropped bales of marijuana over the fence, and the agent<br \/>\nloaded them in his car.
