When he was 22 years old he had sex with a 15 year old girl. While he was in county jail for that offense, Johnson met a 16 year old girl, and began corresponding with her.<\/p>\n<p>The conviction date was March 2011, in Stark County District Court.<\/p>\n<p>Disposition: five years, two years suspended, 233 days credit, eight years supervised probation.<\/p>\n<p>Johnson is currently on probation with North Dakota Parole and Probation.<\/p>\n<p>He is on GPS monitoring.<\/p>\n<p>Johnson is not wanted by police at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court.<\/p>\n<p>This notification is meant for public safety and not to increase fear in the community, nor should this information be used to threaten, assault, or intimidate the offender.<\/p>\n<p>Any attempts to harass, intimidate or threaten these offenders, their families, landlords, or employers will be turned over for prosecution.<\/p>\n<p>Printed handouts of the demographics of Joseph Allen Johnson are available at the Jamestown Police Department.<\/p>\n<p>More information on registered sex offenders is available at the North Dakota Attorney General\u2019s web site: www.sexoffender.nd.gov<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown (CSi) The 13<sup>th<\/sup> Annual Gospel Music Jamboree will be held at Temple Baptist Church in Jamestown on Sunday October 11, 2015, at 3-p.m.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday\u2019s Wayne Byers Show, on CSI Cable 2, Christine Witt said, a free will offering will benefit the Jamestown Salvation Army.<\/p>\n<p>After the entertainment the meal served by the Women of the Church including a baked potato buffet, and bars. Food is being supplied through Thrivent, and by Cavendish Farms, Hugo\u2019s Family Market Place, and Cash Wise Foods, in Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>The cost for the meal is $5 with proceeds raised to provide &#8220;Military Bible Sticks,&#8221; to be sent to military personnel.<\/p>\n<p>She said the small digital computer sticks contain the Bible\u2019s Old Testament, and selected psalms. The sticks are in great demand by our troops, and other fundraisers have been held previously at the church. Anyone wishing to donate may also do so by contacting the church.<\/p>\n<p>The Gospel Jamboree Performances will be by:<\/p>\n<p>CHOSEN with Doug Fogerud, Greg Hager, David McDowell, Steve and Nancy Kuykendall, Candy McDowell.<\/p>\n<p>JOYUS TWO with Gerry Guthmiller &amp; Joyce Heyne<\/p>\n<p>TBC PRAISE BAND with Bernie Satrom, Steve Oberlander, Brian Markegard, Dustin Wagner, Kimm Avans, &amp; Lisa Wagner.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Valley City (CSi) CHI Mercy Health in Valley City reports a plentiful supply of flu vaccine in on hand, as the shot are now being given.<\/p>\n<p>Those at risk of developing flu-related complications such as individual with compromised immune deficiencies, the elderly or those with certain medical conditions are urged to get immunized.<\/p>\n<p>For more information about flu vaccines or to schedule an appointment call CHI Mercy Health in Valley City at 845-6400.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown (CSi) The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports a two vehicle accident on Tuesday, about 2:30-p.m., on Highway one, one mile east of Sanborn.<\/p>\n<p>The report says, a 2015 Ford Fusion, driven by 88 year old Karl Burkhart, of Dazey, was westbound on Barnes County Road 22 when the vehicle stopped for a stop sign at the Highway One intersection, a mile east of Sanborn. Burkhart pulled out in front of the northbound Freightliner semi\/tanker combination, driven by 58 year old Larry Feske of West Fargo. In an attempt to avoid a crash, Feske steered the semi to the left. Burkhart struck the right side of the semi. Both vehicles came to rest in the west ditch, north of the intersection. No fuel was spilled at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>No Injuries reported.<\/p>\n<p>Both drivers wore seatbelts.<\/p>\n<p>The Barnes County Sheriff\u2019s Office assisted at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>The accident is under investigation by the NDHP.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown Help for Hope and Healing Cancer Support Group (HHH) hosted the &#8220;Quarter Craze&#8221; fundraiser September 16, 2015 at the KC Hall More than 100 bidders had fun bidding quarters for the 90 donated baskets. The bidder with the winning number won the basket. The event raised over $4600 of which 100% will be used to purchase gas cards for cancer patients traveling for cancer treatment. The KC club served appetizers and provided the venue. The Thrivent Action Team provided supplemental funds for the event<\/p>\n<p>Help for Hope and Healing (HHH) is Jamestown, North Dakota\u2019s cancer support network. Their goal is to match the needs of families dealing with cancer and volunteers willing to meet those needs. Business leaders who attended Gov. Jack Dalrymple&#8217;s economic summit in Fargo Thursday took turns reeling off the number of job openings at their companies.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 David Batcheller, president and chief operating officer at Appareo in Fargo, says his company has grown from &#8220;five stupid college kids in a research park office&#8221; to 190 people. (AP) &#8211; The committee searching for Fargo&#8217;s next chief of the police is interviewing the three finalists this week.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0Interviews are taking place Thursday and Friday. (AP) &#8211; An Arizona man has pleaded guilty in what North Dakota authorities are calling one of the largest heroin busts in state history.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Frank Villa, of Tempe, Arizona, was the driver of a vehicle that was pulled over on Interstate 94 near Bismarck in December. Authorities say there was 4 1\/2 pounds of heroin hidden in the trunk. It was valued at $2.5 million.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The 48-year-old Villa faces life in prison without parole.\u00a0\u00a0 Sentencing is Jan. 4 in Bismarck.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A passenger in Villa&#8217;s car, 56-year-old Charles Ahumada, of Tucson, Arizona, is currently on trial on two counts of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute a controlled substance.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) &#8211; Owners of farmland in the area of the preferred site for a new Williston airport are wondering about the future of their properties.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Officials expect to break ground in the spring on a $254 million airport.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Williston Herald reports that the city is looking to acquire 1,540 acres from eight landowners &#8211; a majority of which is now farmed. Officials also will be considering zoning changes that might restrict the types of crops that can be grown around the airport.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Affected landowner Blaine Jorgenson says he&#8217;s not sure whether to proceed with fall work on his fields.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Engineering consultant KLJ expects to have a land appraisal staff ready later this month, and officials say landowners will have a chance to bring questions and concerns to that staff.<\/p>\n<p>In sports&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown (CSi) The University of Jamestown has unveiled plans for a proposed $14 million, 49,000 square-foot arena, on campus.<\/p>\n<p>A generous donation from the late Harold Newman launched the project, part of a $60 million campaign initiated by the University in 2013.<\/p>\n<p>The new arena plans to include a training facility, training tables for athletes, treadmills and stationary bikes.<\/p>\n<p>Newman Arena will have 2,000 seats with room for overflow.<\/p>\n<p>After the arena opens, the Hansen Center on the UJ campus will be converted into a lower level dining area and gathering spot for students.<\/p>\n<p>Other possible facilities at the area may include a bowling area or indoor theater. An exterior addition of an ice rink for wintertime and sand volleyball area may added as well.<\/p>\n<p>A bell will be constructed and after each Jimmie win, the bell will be rung that may be heard all over town.<\/p>\n<p>Construction may start in the spring of 2016, and is estimated to be completed in about 15 to 18 months.<\/p>\n<p>\u3000<\/p>\n<p>In world and national news&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>WASHINGTON (AP) &#8211; House Speaker John Boehner says he will serve in the top leadership post until the House votes to elect his successor. Boehner had said last month that he would resign at the end of October, but the process of replacing him has been thrown into chaos after Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy withdrew his candidacy for speaker. McCarthy says House Republicans are deeply divided and need a leader who can unify them, but he&#8217;s not the man.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) &#8211; A U.S. airman hailed as a hero for helping stop a gunman on a French train has been stabbed. Police in Sacramento, California, say Airman 1st Class Spencer Stone was stabbed multiple times in his upper body and is being treated for injuries that do not appear to be life-threatening. They say Stone and four companions got into a fight with another group near a bar and alcohol was likely a factor. Police are searching for two men who fled the scene.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 WASHINGTON (AP) &#8211; Minutes of the Federal Reserve&#8217;s most recent policymaking session indicate officials were almost ready to raise interest rates last month. The portly Cajun chef rose to fame in the early 1980s after opening a diner in New Orleans&#8217; French Quarter named K-Paul&#8217;s Louisiana Kitchen. He had no formal training but managed to spark a nationwide interest in Cajun food, serving dishes like gumbo, etouffee (ay-too-FAY&#8217;) and jambalaya that had been little known outside Louisiana. The chief financial officer of Prudhomme&#8217;s businesses tells The Associated Press that Prudhomme died this morning after a brief illness.
