News) &#8211; James River Community &amp; Senior Center in Jamestown is expected to move the Center One location to space in the former Jamestown Hospital location, the $10 million &#8220;Legacy Center,&#8221; in February 2013.<\/p>\n<p>James River Community Center Executive Director, Laurie McGuire, says, plans are well under way for the move.<\/p>\n<p>New features at the Community Center after the move will include, new kitchen equipment, more dining tables.<\/p>\n<p>Ms. McGuire adds, volunteers are being lined up for the move which will including moving<\/p>\n<p>the kitchen, and the snack bar, eleven offices, three party rooms, and catering equipment.<\/p>\n<p>Those wishing to volunteer may call the senior center, at 252-2882.<\/p>\n<p>A portion of Jamestown Regional Medical Center\u2019s services remain in the building, and newly added is ME\u2019s 21st Century Learning Center, day care.<\/p>\n<p>The James River Valley Library System looked at the site as a possible joint library location, but has decided to pursue other options, including the county space currently being occupied by the James River Community Center, and James River Transit, in Southeast Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>Lutheran Social Services has purchased the building and has drawn up the plans, and will operate the facility, which will have 10,000 square feet for 51 tenant units, and 40,000 square feet of commercial space.<\/p>\n<p>For more information about the Legacy Center\u2019s residential and commercial space, call 701-271-3207.<\/p>\n<p>Roers Construction, from Fargo, is the primary contractor.<\/p>\n<p>When the building is completed in June of 2013, L.S.S. plans to hold an open house for the community.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u3000\u00a0VALLEY CITY, N.D. (AP) &#8211; A Valley City woman has collected Nativity scenes in all shapes and sizes.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nSara Anderson-Moore started collecting Nativity scenes in 1992. (AP) &#8211; Funeral services have been scheduled for two North Dakota National Guard soldiers killed in Afghanistan last week.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Fulkerson Funeral Home says services for Sgt. 1st Class Darren Linde, of Devils Lake, will be at 1 p.m. Mountain time today at the Richland County Event Center in Sidney, Mont.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Funeral services for Spc. Tyler Orgaard will be at 10:30 a.m. Central time Thursday at Church of Corpus Christi in Bismarck.\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The two men died in a roadside bomb attack a week ago. Ian Charles Placek, 23, Bismarck, wounded in the same attack, was listed in stable condition at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany. He will go to Ft. Riley, Kan., for further medical treatment and evaluation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>MANDAN, N.D. (AP) &#8211; Authorities are looking for five boys who<\/p>\n<p>escaped from the Youth Correctional Center at Mandan after<\/p>\n<p>assaulting a correctional officer.<\/p>\n<p>Police believe the 15-, 16- and 17-year-old boys are in the<\/p>\n<p>Minot area. They are considered violent and possibly armed.<\/p>\n<p>Highway Patrol Sgt. Steve Fischer tells The Bismarck Tribune<\/p>\n<p>that a vehicle stolen from the Mandan facility was founded<\/p>\n<p>abandoned in Minot on Monday night. He says it belonged to the YCC officer who was attacked on Sunday. Fischer says the officer was not seriously hurt.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>MINOT, N.D. (AP) &#8211; Authorities have charged a man in the<\/p>\n<p>attempted kidnapping of a woman at a Minot Walmart.<\/p>\n<p>The Minot Daily News reports (http:\/\/bit.ly\/TNs9VG) that<\/p>\n<p>25-year-old Jacob Greeman is accused of entering the back seat of a woman&#8217;s car in the store parking lot early Saturday and holding a hand over her mouth and a knife to her throat. She was able to get away and called police from inside the store.<\/p>\n<p>A telephone call to Greeman&#8217;s home on Tuesday rang unanswered.<\/p>\n<p>Court documents do not list an attorney for him.<\/p>\n<p>Greeman is charged with terrorizing, breaking into a motor<\/p>\n<p>vehicle, making a criminal attempt at kidnapping and possessing<\/p>\n<p>drug paraphernalia. Police say the woman does not know Greeman and the alleged crime appears to be random.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0FARGO, N.D. (AP) &#8211; A Grand Forks woman has admitted to providing<br \/>\nthe heroin that authorities say led to the death of popular Fargo<br \/>\nblues guitarist Cody Connor last summer.<br \/>\n24-year-old Nicole Wadsworth pleaded guilty Monday in federal court<br \/>\nin Fargo to conspiracy and drug charges. Assistant U.S. Attorney<br \/>\nChris Myers says Wadsworth faces at least 20 years in prison and<br \/>\ncould get a life sentence.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Myers says Wadsworth was involved in distributing the heroin<br \/>\nthat 26-year-old Seth Lund injected into Connors in June, leading<br \/>\nto Connors&#8217; overdose death. (AP) &#8211; Backers of a coal-to-liquid fuel plant proposed for western North Dakota say they will ask for more time to study the project.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 North American Coal Corporation spokesman David Straley tells The Associated Press that developers will ask for a fifth extension before year&#8217;s end. He says developers still need favorable coal legislation and a clear U.S. energy policy for the $4 billion project to move forward.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The North Dakota Industrial Commission in 2007 committed up to $10 million in state aid from coal tax collections to help determine the project&#8217;s potential.
