News)\u00a0 &#8212;\u00a0 The VCSU Community School of the Arts (CSA) is now accepting registrations for the 2013 Spring music programs.\u00a0 The CSA offers a wide variety of programs for community members interested in the fine arts.\u00a0 Please take a look at what we have to offer and contact the Director with any questions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The following programs are available this year:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Private Music Lessons <\/strong>are available in piano, voice, guitar, string, woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments.\u00a0 The program includes private lessons, optional group performance classes, and optional recitals.\u00a0 Private lessons are taught by VCSU music faculty and student interns.\u00a0 All levels of experience and all ages are welcome.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Valley Voices Women\u2019s Choir<\/strong> will resume rehearsals on Thursday, January 17.\u00a0 Rehearsals will be Thursdays from 6:00 to 7:30 pm in the VCSU Choir Room.\u00a0 The choir is open to women of all ages and experiences.\u00a0 Dr. Christopher Redfearn will be returning to direct the choir.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Valley City Civic Orchestra<\/strong> will resume rehearsals on Monday, January 7.\u00a0 Rehearsals will be Mondays from 6:30 to 7:45 pm in the VCSU Band Room.\u00a0 The group includes string, brass, woodwind, and percussion players.\u00a0 Dr. James Adams will be returning to direct the orchestra.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Valley Youth Choir<\/strong> will hold its first rehearsal on Thursday, January 17.\u00a0 Rehearsals will be Thursdays from 4:30 to 6:00 pm in the VCSU Choir Room.\u00a0 Dr. Sara Hagen will be returning to direct the choir.\u00a0 This choir is open to grades 3-8.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The VCSU Community School of the Arts programs are open to all members of Valley City and the surrounding communities.\u00a0 The CSA offers scholarships for any CSA programs for those who qualify.\u00a0 For information on any of these programs or for registration forms, please contact Amy Tahran, Director of the VCSU Community School of the Arts at 845-7267, or by e-mail at <a href=\"mailto:csa@vcsu.edu\">csa@vcsu.edu<\/a>.\u00a0 Registrations\u00a0 and payments are due by January 2, 2013!\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0 &nbsp; Valley City, ND\u00a0 (KCSi-T.V.
