(AP) \u2013 Drick Bernstine scored a career-high 20 points and had 10 rebounds to lead North Dakota to an 80-59 victory over NAIA\u2019s Valley City State Thursday night.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Bernstine added three assists and four steals. Quinton Hooker had 17 points and Carson Shanks chipped in a season-high 11 for North Dakota (5-5).<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Darryl Howell had 13 points and LJ Booth 11 for Valley City State.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 North Dakota had a 16-15 lead before Bernstine sparked a 13-2 run to help the Fighting Hawks take a 45-33 halftime lead. Bernstine scored 15 points in the first half.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 North Dakota opened the second half on a 6-0 spurt and stretched its lead to 18 points.
