\"vcsuhelmet\"<\/a>Valley City (CSi) The VCSU 2016 Vikings football schedule of ten regular season games has been released.<\/p>\n

They kickoff the 2016 season at home under the lights at Shelly Ellig Field<\/p>\n

On Thursday August 25, 2016, against the University of Jamestown, at 7-p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Valley City State will play four of its first five games at home.<\/p>\n

Five VCSU home games are included in six North Star Athletic Association conference games, besides hosting UJ, will play at home, Hastings College, Waldorf College, Dickinson State and Presentation College.<\/p>\n

VCSU\u2019s homecoming game is set for September 24th against Waldorf College.<\/p>\n

The 2016 schedule features two teams VCSU has never played<\/p>\n

The Vikings will host Hastings College, a member of the Great Plains Athletic Conference, on September 10th.<\/p>\n

On Nov. 10, VCSU will hit the road to play Southeastern University (Fla.), a member of the The Sun Conference.<\/p>\n

Road games are at Dickinson State, Mayville State, Dakota State, University of Jamestown and Southeastern University (Fla.).<\/p>\n

VCSU is coming off a 7-3 season in 2015 and finished second in the NSAA standings.<\/p>\n
