\u00a0FARGO, N.D. (AP) – A Minnesota man has established a benefit fund for the families of six Missouri men killed in a crash in North Dakota the day after Christmas.

\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The men were with a construction company and were heading to a work site when their pickup slid off an icy Interstate 94, crossed the median into oncoming traffic and collided with a semitrailer.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Randy Kremer, of Moorhead, Minn., says he set up a fund to help with funeral expenses. He says the bodies of some of the men are being sent back to their home villages in Mexico. He says when he heard the story he felt terrible for the families.

Six Springfield area men killed Wednesday morning on an icy strip of interstate near Jamestown, N.D., were there looking for work, a family friend said Thursday.<\/p>\n
Yolanda Lorge, president of the Hispanic advocacy organization Grupo Latino Americano in Springfield, said the driver, Martin Zuniga, owned a small construction company. He and the men with him were heading to a work site. Lorge didn\u2019t know exactly where the job was.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s what they were doing there,\u201d Lorge said. \u201cThey found a job there or something. You have to find work wherever you can.\u201d<\/p>\n
