(AP) \u2013 Charity organizers throughout Barnes County say they\u2019ve seen record donations this year as residents and businesses donated time and money to help those in need.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The county\u2019s Salvation Army saw its best year ever. An anonymous donor gave $7,500 to the organization Wednesday, bringing its already record-breaking total to about $53,500. The number is up more than $9,000 from last year.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The group\u2019s chairman, Lee Isensee, says he\u2019s grateful that residents \u201creally stepped forward.\u201d<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Pat Hansen of the county\u2019s food pantry has also done well thanks to several food drives.
