\"dalrymple-Gov\"Valley City (CSi) \u00a0Gov. Jack Dalrymple Saturday honored the 2016 inductees into the North
\nDakota Agriculture Hall of Fame during an event at the 79th Annual North Dakota
\nWinter Show in Valley City. Dalrymple presented plaques to this year’s honorees,<\/strong>
\nJerry Effertz of Velva and Ambrose Hoff of Richardton.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Congratulations to Jerry Effertz and Ambrose Hoff on being selected for induction
\ninto the North Dakota Agriculture Hall of Fame,” said Dalrymple. “Both Jerry and
\nAmbrose are deserving of this recognition for the significant contributions they
\nhave made to our state’s agriculture industry. The Hall of Fame is a wonderful way
\nto honor leaders in agriculture for all they do to advance the industry and
\nstrengthen our state, and to highlight the success and progress of North Dakota’s
\nleading industry.”<\/p>\n

Each year, inductees are selected by the North Dakota Agriculture Hall of Fame
\nCommittee, which is comprised of the following agricultural groups and
\norganizations: North Dakota Lamb & Wool Producers, North Dakota Grain Growers, North
\nDakota Stockmen’s Association, North Dakota Oilseed Council, North Dakota Department
\nof Agriculture, North Dakota Pork Producers Council, NDSU Extension Service, North
\nDakota Farm Bureau, North Dakota Farmers Union, North Dakota Vocational Agriculture,
\nNorth Dakota Winter Show, North Dakota Implement Dealers Association, Red River
\nValley Sugarbeet Growers, Northern Pulse Growers Association and a representative
\nfrom the state’s farm broadcasters and ag journalists.<\/p>\n

The North Dakota Agriculture Hall of Fame was established in 1997 to recognize
\nindividuals who have made significant contributions to the state’s agriculture
\nindustry. The home for the Hall of Fame is the North Dakota Winter Show, the
\nlongest-running agriculture show in the region. Including this year’s inductees, 45
