Robert Opp said the man is identified as 60 year old Dennis Schneider, of Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>He was taken from the scene to Jamestown Regional Medical Center, by Jamestown Area Ambulance Service and later life-flighted to a Fargo hospital. His condition was not available.<\/p>\n<p>He was conscious and moving when he was transported by the ambulance service.<\/p>\n<p>The accident occurred in the 1-p.m. hour Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Lt. Justin Blinsky says the train was westbound, at a relatively low rate of speed when Schneider crossed in front of the train in his wheelchair, and was struck by the train.<\/p>\n<p>Jamestown Police Chief Scott Edinger says witness reports say Schneider got hung up on the tracks while crossing.<\/p>\n<p>Edinger says Schneider did not use the quiet zone while crossing the rails.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The train came to a stop within about 75 yards just short of the 1st Avenue crossing.<\/p>\n<p>No one in the locomotive was injured.<\/p>\n<p>Police Sgt Mann said Thursday that the crossings of 2nd Ave NE, 7th Ave NE, &amp; 3rd St NE were closed to traffic until the investigation was concluded by investigators from BNSF who were on the scene later, Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>BNSF and officials will be looking at the accident to determine if measures can be taken to prevent this from happening in the future.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>At 6:45pm, Thursday, Jamestown Police reported that all crossings had been reopened to normal traffic.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) \u2013 The North Dakota Lottery says a Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold in Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>The lottery says the ticket in Wednesday night\u2019s drawing matched all five white balls, making it worth $1 million. No one has come forward yet to claim the prize.<\/p>\n<p>The ticket was sold at Dan\u2019s Sooper Stop, and the store will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday night\u2019s winning numbers were 12, 25, 30, 52, and 62. The Powerball was 8, and the Power Play multiplier was 3.<\/p>\n<p>North Dakota Lottery director Randy Miller says if someone has the winning ticket, they should immediately sign the back. Attorney Christopher Myers says the accused lookout man and getaway driver in a restaurant robbery in which an employee was shot in the leg have been sentenced to time in prison.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Myers says 27-year-old Rico Jamal Brown was sentenced to serve five years in prison after pleading to aiding and abetting this robbery by participating as a lookout.
