Jamestown   (NDHP) The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports that one person was killed with two injuries  in a two vehicle crash east of Jamestown Friday around 5:45-p.m.

The report by trooper, Sgt. Evan Savageau says a Chevy Equinox driven by 18 year old, Falynne Karlowsky, of Cleveland was traveling eastbound on 35th Street SE when it went through the intersection at 87th Ave SE and was struck by a Silverado pickup operated by 19 year old Jordan Hurt, of  Clearwater, MN. The pickup struck the driver side door and quarter panel.

Falynne Karlowsky,was pronounced dead on the scene. The 16 year-old male passenger from Medina, Kaje Gudmestad,   was transported to the JRMC and later airlifted to Sanford Hospital in Fargo for serious injuries.

The 19 year-old Silverado driver from Clearwater, MN, Jordan Hurt,  was treated for his serious injuries at the JRMC.

The report says all three were wearing a seat belt.

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

Assisting  at the secene were the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office, Jamestown Police Department, Jamestown Fire & Rescue, Jamestown Ambulance, and Sanford AirMed.
