NDHP – On October 15 at 1:02am a Chevrolet, driven by Sawyer Harmel, was southbound on 33rd Ave NE, in Rugby, ND. At the intersection with 66th St NE, the Chevrolet drove onto the southbound shoulder, overcorrected, failed to negotiate the intersection, entered the south ditch, rolled, and came to rest facing east.
The driver sustained serious injuries, was transported to Heart of America Medical Center in Rugby, and subsequently air lifted to Trinity Hospital in Minot.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
