Ruben Tarnasky passed away Friday May 10, 2024 at the Meadows in Fargo, ND.
Ruben was born on February 27, 1925 north of Lehr, North Dakota to Michael and Mathilda (Kramlich) Tarnasky. Ruben attended a country school northwest of Lehr, North Dakota.
He married Bertha Morlock on October 7, 1945 in Streeter, North Dakota. He farmed in Streeter and Eldridge, North Dakota, and then moved to Gackle, North Dakota where he worked for Heier Implement. In 1995, he retired to take care of his sick wife until her death in 2003.
In February 2009, he moved to Good Samaritan Society in Fargo, North Dakota. There, he loved to play bean bag and made lots of friends with the residents.
He is survived by his 3 daughters – Judy Jacobson of Fargo, North Dakota, Janice Ellingson of Wahpeton, North Dakota and Betty (Gary) Brink of Mesa, Arizona, 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife; 1 grandson, 3 brothers, Elmer, Marvin and Walter, and 2 sisters Esther and Idella.

Internment -St Lukes Cemetery, Streeter, North Dakota
