Jamestown – Jamestown Regional Medical Center JRMC recognized its volunteers as part of National Volunteer Appreciation Week, a nationwide observance that honors the contributions of individuals who dedicate their time to serving others.
To celebrate, JRMC hosted its annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon, bringing together volunteers from across the organization to thank them for their continued service and commitment. The event recognized the important roles volunteers play in enhancing the JRMC experience for patients, families and staff alike.
As part of the week’s activities, JRMC also announced its 2024 volunteer award recipients:
- Sally Siefken was named Volunteer of the Year, an award voted on by JRMC staff.
- Marlene Axtman received the Legendary Volunteer of the Year award, also selected by JRMC staff.
- Mary Bertsch was recognized as Auxilian of the Year, an honor voted on by the JRMC Auxiliary.
These awards highlight individuals who have demonstrated exceptional service, reliability and dedication to JRMC’s mission.
