Lisbon (CSi) Bail was set at $1 million cash Wednesday for 28 year old Paul Miller, of Enderlin, charged with murder in the shooting death of 28 year old Billy Holladay, of Enderlin.

The $1 million cash bail  was granted by Ransom County District Court Judge Jay Schmitz.

The shooting occurred at 2:30 a.m. Sunday February 7, 2016, in the 200 block of Third Avenue as Holladay dropped off his 2-year-old nephew. Authorities found Holladay dead at the scene.

Miller allegedly confessed to family members his involvement in the crime, documents say, and was arrested later Sunday in Fargo.

Miller is charged with murder, a Class AA felony, and reckless endangerment, a Class C felony.

FARGO, N.D. (AP) – Authorities have charged a man accused in the shooting death of an Enderlin man.

InsideMillerPaulThumbnailCourt documents filed Monday accuse 28-year-old Paul Miller of felony murder and reckless endangerment in the death of Billy Holladay. The shooting happened early Sunday in Enderlin.

Fargo Deputy Police Chief Joe Anderson says  Miller eventually turned himself into relatives. He was taken into custody by agents from state Bureau of Criminal Investigation and booked into the Cass County Jail.

HolladayBilly1Authorities say Holladay was found dead when first responders arrived at around 2:30 a.m. Sunday. Ransom County Sheriff Darren Benneweis says he believes anywhere from three to seven shots were fired.

Sheriff Darren Benneweis reports that the suspect vehicle and a weapon were recovered at a rural Barnes County Resience with assistance from the Barns County Sheriff’s Office and NDBCI.

Miller’s first court appearance has not been scheduled. His attorney, Cash Aaaland, was not immediately available for comment

Enderlin (CSi)  A suspect has been arrested and was booked on a charge of murder in the Cass County jail.  That,  after a man was killed in a drive-by shooting in Enderlin, early Sunday morning.

The jail roster indicates that  Paul Miller of rural Barnes County was arrested.

He turned himself into relatives.  Police were then called and the was taken into custody by agents from state Bureau of Criminal Investigation and booked into the Cass County Jail.

The Ransom County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the shooting death.

Valley News Live says residents told reporters that the shooting victim is Billy Holladay of Enderlin.

Enderlin, ND (WDAY TV) – Authorities are searching for a suspect after a man was killed in a drive-by shooting in Enderlin, ND early Sunday morning.

Authorities were called to the 200 block of 3rd avenue around 2:25 a.m. according to Ransom County Sheriff Darren Benneweis.

Upon arrival a man was found dead at the scene. Officers were told that the shots came from a 2013-2014 F-150 truck, possibly silver in color. A description of the suspect was not made available.

Sources close to the victim have identified him as Billy Holladay of Enderlin, ND.

Police have not released how many times the victim was hit or how many shots were fired. It’s not determined what may have led to the shooting incident.

Authorities are still on scene investigating the incident.

The Ransom County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Lisbon Police Department, Sargent County Sheriff’s Office, Barnes County Sheriff’s Office and the Cass County Sheriff’s Office. The Enderlin Fire Department, First Responders, First Medic Ambulance of Lisbon and Ransom County Coroner were also on scene as well as the North Dakota Highway Patrol and North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation
