Valley City (CSi) The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports, two injuries following a rollover accident on I-94 near the Oriska Rest Area at around 6:25 -p.m., Monday..
The report says, 33 year old Heather Marie Butler, of Riverside, Iowa was traveling eastbound on I-94 when the vehicle entered the south ditch. The vehicle rolled and came to rest on its wheels facing northeast.
Butler was not restrained and was ejected during the crash. Passenger 35 year old Michael Kemp, of Santa Ana, California, remained in the vehicle. It’s not clear if he was restrained. Butler was airlifted to Sanford Hospital in Fargo for serious injuries. Kemp was transported by Barnes County Ambulance.
Butler was arrested for Driving Under the Influence. The crash remains under investigation.
