BISMARCK, N.D. (AP Jan 8, 2013) – Tuesday kicked off another session of the state Legislature, this one expected to go until at least May 1. Among the highlights of the first week will be Gov. Jack Dalrymple’s scheduled State of the State address in early afternoon. Tomorrow, Chief Justice Gerald VandeWalle (VAN’-duh-wall) briefs lawmakers on issues affecting North Dakota’s judicial system.
District 12, Republican State Representative, Alex Looysen, of Jamestown, is a 21-year-old junior studying biology at Jamestown College, and the youngest legislator in Bismarck.
He’s taking this semester off from J.C. to serve.
