Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News) — The Jamestown City Fire Department responded to a call Wednesday (Jan 9, 2013) about 1:30 p.m., to an apartment unit at 1510 11th Avenue, Northeast.

Lt. Sheldon Mohr says hot cooking oil caused smoke in the kitchen area of the apartment unit.

No fire was reported.

Three units of the City Fire Department and 20 fire fighters were on the scene about 15 minutes extracting smoke from the kitchen.

No injuries were reported.
