Charges, against person of interest, VC thefts

Valley City  (CSi)   Valley City Police Chief Fred Thompson reports the department  investigating a number of thefts.

In one case police are investigating a lawn mower theft from a residence Wednesday morning,  in the 800 block of 8th Street Northwest, at an out building.

Later an officer found the mower observed in a van.

More items were found in the van that was impounded  at the Valley City Police Department which is purportedly owned by a female, a person of interest who has had an arrest warrant issued on the charges of two counts of theft from a motor vehicle, with additional charges pending.
