Update… BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Authorities have identified a 33-year-old man who died after his motorcycle collided with a sport utility vehicle in Bismarck.
Bismarck police say Denver Glas of Linton was pronounced dead at a local hospital Monday after the crash.
Authorities say the 28-year-
old SUV driver, Darci Voldness, has been arrested for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. She didn’t get injured in the crash.
Court records don’t list an attorney for the Jamestown woman. Bismarck police say the case is under investigation.
Previously… Bismarck (KFYR – TV) A 28-year-old Jamestown woman, Darci Voldness, was arrested Monday for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia after a collision that killed 33-year-old Denver Glas of Linton, driver of a motorcycle on East Main Avenue in Bismarck.
Police say after obtaining a search warrant for the vehicle, they found a case with paraphernalia in it. Police say they found a small baggy with meth and a glass smoking device in the sunglasses holder.
Voldness is now in custody awaiting formal charges.
Police say it’s uncertain if she was under the influence of any substance during the crash.
The motorcyclist was thrown from the bike and pronounced dead at a local hospital.
