This year’s event is being co-sponsored by the Anne Carlsen Center and the Jamestown Patriotic Council.

There will be two speakers from Annie’s House in Bottineau.

Anne Nelson, originally from Stanley, North Dakota, died in the collapse of the Twin Towers at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.   On her “bucket list,” which was recovered from her computer, was her desire to own a home in North Dakota.  That led to the establishment of an adaptive recreational facility for individuals and veterans with disabilities.  The Anne Carlsen Center,  the New York Says Thank You Foundation, and the Bottineau Winter Park Association have worked together to make Nelson’s wish come true.
